Summary
"There's Deer in there. I didn't know they could withstand this kind of cold."
Agatha is standing next to Wanda, who is now looking pensively across and into the forest. A beat passes, and there it is again, chest tightening accompanied by an urge she doesn't believe is here. She decides to pitch her voice instead, fitting the dramatic cadence she's about to use, and says
"well of course darling! the mountain witches have a long history with Deer, incorporating them into rituals, the animals getting protection from predators in exchange, all that. You seem bent on staying around these streets so I say we should fetch you a buddy or two."
Wanda turns her way, face cringing while also bright with a smile."I was going to say animals seem more of your thing but-"
"Forbid I yield to this weather. Westview is more appealing and considering Sara Proctor lives there, that's a low bar."
For what its worth, Agatha can welcome the sense of contentment that follows Wanda's laughter.

“And you’ve never fucked?” The way she said it, it did sound a little stupid, “What do you do to pass the time?”
“I scare children,” Death shifted in her chair, still rubbing at the skin of one hand with the other. No wonder Agatha had nowhere to live, she thought. She was unbearable. “Amongst other things.”

"What did you just say?" Agatha grits her teeth, her voice dripping with rage. Trembling, even. Not her hands though, her hands grip the revolver as if the only certainty Agatha has in life is that she wants to engrave that bullet in Rio's skull.
"I said..." Rio opens her eyes. "I said it's not their fault that Nicky's dead."
The sound of Agatha's laughter reverberates, in her ears, like air raid sirens. "You're right," Agatha says. "It's your fault."
"Shoot." Rio dares her because she can only take so far. "I dare you, come on," she presses. "I dare you to kill the mother of your child."
