"What do you want from me?" Aventurine snaps.
What does Ratio want from him? Ratio recalls an earlier thought. He wants the man.
"More than you're willing to give, it seems."
Aventurine sends Ratio looking for a file in his desk. Ratio finds his will instead—and, inside it, himself listed as a beneficiary. The money is the least interesting thing Aventurine has left him.

"Then I shall respect that wholeheartedly, granted it is what you truly desire." Ratio's voice lowers, "But do not deny me the opportunity to show you the depth of my affection if the only reason you object is your own self-doubt."

Summary
“Does it have anything to do with the person who gave you that ring?” he asks, nodding toward the band wrapped around the man's finger.
For a second, the man looks confused. Then his gaze drops to his hand, and a slow smirk spreads across his face. “Maybe. What would you say if I told you I was married?”
“I'd ask if you were happy.”

Summary
"Thing is," Jude says, licking his spoon and pretending it's the reason his voice sounds so hoarse, "sometimes it's like you are my boyfriend."
Erling snorts and put his bowl on the coffee table in front of them, stacking Jude's neatly into his, their spoons gently resting on top of each other. His hand comes to rest on Jude's knee.
"But we're not gay."
Jude drags his thumb and index down his cheeks, suppressing a yawn as he stares into the rain. "Honestly? Sometimes I'm not so sure."
Erling defends Jude in an interview. This is how it starts.

Summary
Due to progressive pushback, the International Skating Association (ISU) has decided to allow same-gender pairs to skate in competitions for the first time in history.
Kenma has been waiting for this day his entire life.
To be clear, though—Kenma is not a pairs skater. He has never skated in a pairs competition in his life, but he’s going to, because he’s going to become one of the first ever Japanese figure skaters to skate with a male partner in an official competition.
Kuroo, on the other hand, couldn’t give two shits about the new ISU update. Yay for gay rights and progress, but he’s an actual pairs skater with an established female partner who just up and quit the sport altogether out of nowhere, leaving him high and dry for the next season. How is he supposed to get to the Olympics without a skating partner?
Kenma—a man Kuroo has never met before—has some ideas that might solve his problem, all of which include the two of them skating together for the next season. After all, what could possibly go wrong when trying to make history challenging gender norms in a conservative country through an international athletic competition?
… It’s going to be a very long season.

Bookmarker's Notes
Kuroo shook his head at his friend with an amused lift to his lips, but all Kenma could focus on was the way Akaashi leaned over Bokuto's arm like he was marking his fucking territory, all while Bokuto fumbled with Kuroo's phone like he'd never been flirted with a day in his life.
-
"Next time you give me a look for flirting with Bokuto, I want you to remember that you just let Kuroo bridal carry you around the rink while you blushed and gawked at him."
-
"Wait, why are we on our own?!" Kuroo asked after a moment, whipping around to gape at Akaashi.
"Uh, because they're here for you," Suzumeda pointed out.
"You don't know that!"
"Are both of your heads so packed full of gay thoughts and big dreams that neither of you have time to check social media?"
