Being an NHL Omega was definitely an interesting career choice. You knew that the Omega sport work industry was popular and lucrative, but you had not considered it. Until you were scouted, it had happened right at your own high school graduation. A man, clad in a suit and NHL pins, approached, asking what you had considered career-wise. “No-” You pushed your heel into his shoulder. “Don’t you dare.” Ilya laughed.
“Why? Don’t like water?”
Shane, at this point, had swam over as well, standing next to Ilya as you two bickered.
“No, it's just-”
Ilya put his chin on your knee, looking up at you with bright blue eyes. “Just what olenyonok?”

Rex Lapis has plenty of time on his hand ever since he stepped down from his former seat as the geo archon. Currently as Zhongli the mortal, it is not so rare for him to accompany her on her commissions now and then. Over the time spent together, the feelings she harbored for the man were no longer as simple as one would hold for a good friend — it took one interesting commission for her to realize that. If only she knew she was not alone in this.
