Summary

As the war wages on, he struggles to figure out what he wants with his life as the end of the war and the inevitable return to his own time looms ever closer. All the while, his own secrets get heavier, and those who care about him get more and more worried for his wellbeing.

Scott swallowed hard. His heart was racing wildly, his entire body burning up as his mind internally short-circuited. He knew exactly what Martyn was asking him to admit, and perhaps that was why no answer came.
“You keep telling me not to start, but you never tell me you don’t want me to,” Martyn pointed out before shifting closer, his body fully pressing against Scott’s from behind as an arm wrapped around his middle.
