After ten years living abroad, sterling aviator Gojo Satoru returns to Japan for a short visit amid the demands of his busy career. Reki doesn't know the first thing about kissing and after a bit of light-hearted taunting, gets the idea to practice with Langa. They're best friends, aren't they? So they should help each other out. Boy lips couldn't be that different from girl lips anyway. Langa, meanwhile, knows this isn't a good idea. Yet, if having Reki to himself is ultimately impossible, then might as well take what he can get--even if it is going to be painful in the end.
Their experimentation starts out innocently enough, but with curiosity and raging hormones at play, they might be too late by the time they go too far.

Shoko keeps asking him if they fell out because of a fight, or something. He assures her it’s much simpler than that:
Satoru moved to Kyoto for university, and Suguru stayed in Tokyo. They didn’t really keep in touch.
Sad, sure— but such fates are met by plenty of childhood friends.
(He knows Shoko texts Satoru a lot, knows they kept in contact— and he wonders if she asks him the same question: Did you have a fight?
He wonders if Satoru gives her a different answer.)

Or: Despite all the memories coloring their childhood, at twenty-four, Suguru hadn't seen Satoru for years. And then he's there, again, in his life, abrupt and distracting and mesmerizing like a snowstorm, and Suguru has a lifetime or feelings he seems to have gotten too old to ignore.
