Summary
Aymeric's pursuit of a powerful relic to help secure his father’s kingdom ends with the death of his lover, and a serious diplomatic incident that shames his entire family.
The remedy? A peace deal that requires a marriage to a member of the orc clan his mostly-human family has been fighting for years.
Meric is not a fan of this for… so many reasons. It doesn't help that his bride-to-be, Saldis, seems to have her own ulterior motives for wanting this arrangement, and it involves a good deal more religion than he is entirely comfortable with.
But other forces are still looking for the relic that could turn the tide of the land's constant warfare. Some will stop at nothing to get their hands on it... and they believe Meric and Saldis hold the key to finding it. -

Summary
“Prouvaire?” No answer. “Jehan?” Enjolras scanned the small crowd around her. She did not see the long, gingery hair of the group’s poet, or her customary floral waistcoat. Where was she? “Jehan Prouvaire?” She repeated, a touch of nervousness sprouting up inside her stomach.
“She’s probably in with the wounded, let me look there.” Courfeyrac disappeared into the cafe’s makeshift hospital. She reappeared a moment or so later, worry creased in her face. “Jehan isn’t in there. She’s not with the dead, either.” The worry in Enjolras’ gut grew. There was only one other place Jehan could be. -

Summary
A bullet splintered a spare door, nowhere near Gavroche. The sound made Enjolras start, but it had an even stronger effect on Courfeyrac. She lunged forwards, making to go over the barricade. “Gavroche! Come back!” Combeferre caught her, dragging her backwards, and Enjolras latched on too. Gavroche stood up, faced the direction of the National Guardsmen, and her small voice floated up from the smoke. “Little people know, when little people fight...”

You may be wondering: is this the kind of indulgent writing that includes sleeping furs, large tankards of mead, and snuggling for warmth?
Dear reader, it is exactly that.

Summary
Watson hopes to distract Holmes during a lull between cases. (Set sometime after A Study in Scarlet and before The Sign of the Four).
Excerpt: Over the top of my newspaper, I watched Holmes rise from his seat. He walked to the window and peered out, his pipe clenched between his teeth. It was the third time he had made the journey to the window in a quarter hour. I waited for his announcement of a visitor. I listened for the sound of carriage wheels, the knock upon the downstairs door. The street remained quiet, the door-knocker still, even the lowering clouds I could see above the buildings over the road held in their rain.

Summary
This is a group of interlinked short stories (most between 2000 and 7000 words) which tell the story of how Holmes and Watson really came to be separated at the Reichenbach Falls, and how they found each other again. Each story is in the form of a document--a letter, a journal, a surveillance report, an affidavit, etc.--which is linked to one or more ACD canon tales, and which tells us something about that story that was changed or suppressed in Watson's published account of it. Holmes/Watson, with glimpses of other relationships. Only one story ("The Boy in the Boat," which is f/f) is rated M. Everything else is T.
ACD canon stories that inspired "Missing Pages" include: The Hound of the Baskervilles, The Sign of Four, "The Final Problem," "The Empty House," "The Naval Treaty," "A Case of Identity," "The Greek Interpreter," "The Gloria Scott," "The Noble Bachelor," "The Copper Beeches," "The Disappearance of Lady Frances Carfax," "The Devil's Foot," "The Illustrious Client," and "A Case of Identity."
Many stories work as stand-alones. If you want the whole arc, just read them in the order in which they are posted. Either way you slice it, I hope you enjoy!
