"Is- Is it yours?" Will can't help but ask.
"No clue," Mike brings a hand up and traces his fingers over the dried blood, hisses when he gets close to his hairline.
Will moves like on autopilot. He crosses the small bathroom in what feels like a split second, and grabs onto Mike's wrist.
"Don't," he blurts. Pulls his hand away like he got zapped with electricity. "D- Don't.. touch it. Need to clean it."
"Right. Yeah," Mike mutters. His face does something weird, but it's gone as quickly as it comes. "Can.. Can you do it for me?"

"I'm not trying to be a jerk. Okay?" He sees the way Will looks like he's about to cry, "But we're not kids anymore. I mean what did you think, really? That we were never gonna get girlfriends? That we were just gonna sit in my basement all day and play games for the rest of our lives?"
"Yeah. I guess I did. I really did." Will grabs his bike and starts pedaling away.
"Will. Will! Will, come on!" Mike screams after him, but it does nothing to stop the other boy.
He stares at the way Will left and just stands in one place for some time, feeling the wind caressing his face. Mike starts feeling deep regret, he didn't mean to lash out and say that. What if Will vanishes again on the ride back home and Mike loses him again?

Holly’s deep sigh interrupts his train of thought. She keeps her eyes down for a few moments, gaze fixed on the floor, before looking up. Determination burning in her eyes. As she parts her lips, Mike closes his eyes briefly, waiting to get screamed at.
But then she asks very calmly, “What if Will came with you?”
Mike’s eyes fly open, his eyebrows shoot up in surprise. He sputters, but nothing intelligible comes out. “Holly, uh…”
Will’s eyes darts between them. He waits for Mike to actually say something but Mike’s brain is simply not working.
When she turns her attention to Will, he makes a small involuntary sound, like he got caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to.

Mike and Will call off their Friday night's plans with the Party to help out Holly.
