    Frankly, the doctors, nurses, and techs of the Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Center were sick and tired of the Mel and Frank dance. They skirted around each other, shot heart eyes down the hallways, and then avoided any and all discussion about possible feelings. They were determined to show the pair what stood before them. It was clear that the only people who were not aware that Frank and Mel liked each other were Frank and Mel.

    As weeks passed and each futile attempt was missed, they were all ready to give it a break; clearly, they had missed something.

    But that was until today.

    After a stint in rehab, a messy divorce, and an uncomfortable return to work, things were starting to feel okay again for Frank Langdon.

    The old, impulsive Frank would have made a move on Mel before the ink on his divorce papers dried.

    The new and improved, patient and thoughtful, Frank knew he could never make a move on Mel. No matter how bad he wanted to. He couldn’t risk losing her.

    In sum, everything was going okay for Frank. That is, until he heard Mel agreed to go on a date - with someone who isn’t him.
