Summary
The Garden was beautiful. In the sky birds sang the sweetest melodies, and every animal played with their neighbors. There was no fear, because why would there be? The Garden, and the Heavenly Skies surrounding it was peaceful and perfect.
Lucifer Morningstar’s duties were not heavy; he was the Guardian of the Garden, but what was there really to guard? Nothing from the outside could touch them in Heaven, and there were no dangers inside the perfect paradise. The day passed, like so many others; the sun began to sink, painting the sky in pink and purple. He was about to take his leave when he saw the deer.
It had to be a deer, right?
The creature was too far away to see clearly, but the shape resembled those animals. It stood still as a statue, the way frightened deer do ... and it was staring at him.
For the first time he could remember, Lucifer felt uneasy.
Lucifer’s life in Heaven is perfect. Until a monster starts following him ... a monster no one else can see.

Summary
Lucifer becomes King after his father abdicates. His council's first push is to insist he needs a mate. Now, Lucifer gets to play host to a series of omegas until he finds one he likes enough to make his consort.
Alastor spent his childhood forced into the restrictive mold of an old-fashioned omega by an uncaring father. When he's told he would be spending time with the King as a prospective mate, he can only hope (if chosen) that this is a better alpha than the one he would be escaping.
Part 1 is complete, updates will be as I sporadically finish edits. I won't commit to a schedule, because that way lies madness. And I'm going on vacation.

Lucifer doesn’t know how much time has passed since he last saw his little girl. His world has been confined to the glass cage holding him, the room it was kept in, and the moments when his captors would visit and force him to create whatever they needed for their plans. They were very careful to keep a tight hold on his leash; they didn’t want to lose access to the “rare, all-powerful phoenix” after all. Fuckers.
The point was he was stuck in who-knows-where for who-knows-how long and losing hope for escape, let alone reuniting with Charlie.
“Hm, I would’ve expected a phoenix to be a bit more… red. How disappointing.”

Summary

Charlie has organized a new research expedition, with the intent of chasing down that strange signal. The council assigns their least favorites to accompany her, and as the worst Morningstar son, Lucifer is among them. So is Charlie's lab partner, an acidic, intolerable man named Dr. Alastor Etoile.
He has a bad feeling about this signal, and whatever it is that awaits them in the dark, but he has no choice but to fly them out there. As for when they finally find whatever sings that haunting song... Lucifer fears the worst.
