Summary
They sit on the stone steps in the warm evening air, munching on their hard-earned prize and looking out at the bright sea. Katsuki always says his favorite place is the mountains but the ocean comes pretty damn close. It makes you feel small, like it’s just you against the world.
Once they’re finished eating, Katsuki stands and extends a hand.
"C’mon, Mai," he says. She becomes a mouse, scurries up his sleeve and leaps into his coat pocket. "Let's go home."
