Becoming a Nurse Aide at MIRA’s Skeld Branch Hospital was supposed to be Green’s ticket to an RN license and hopefully Med school. Sure, living with their distant cousin Lime is a test of patience, and hospital politics are a nightmare, but it’s their dream to become a health care professional! Not that they minded shoveling wriggling bait back on the family worm farm.
That is, until a Very Important Patient enters the picture and derails Green's focus. Falling for a patient is bad; falling for a VIP is a career-ending catastrophe. Green is about to discover that every/any kind of love at MIRA is messy and keeping up is going to take more than medical skill.

When the Green Pippins finally got a job at TV Time, he expected to be able to blend into the background with his other fellow Pippins, despite his unique complexion. He didn't expect to fall in with the ostracised Bartender who encouraged him to forge his own identity for himself.
Torn between two entirely different paths, the Pippins has to decide where he wanted to take his life, all the while juggling his work, finding out who Mike is, and figuring out just what his relationship with Ramb truly is.
