Summary
Rome, 1991. Life seemed to be coming up for Aldo Bellini, PhD; he had a secure job, an apartment he shared with his best friend, and he was living in the land of his ancestors.
Then, because he was only put on this earth to suffer, Aldo Bellini met Dr. Goffredo Tedesco.

And if the body were not the soul, what is the soul? by roypeloy

Summary
A soulmate, by definition, was someone chosen for him by God, and whom he was chosen for in return. It signified love and respect, both of which Aldo never imagined having for Tedesco, or being received from him. He was confined to a soulmate who would never even dare try to love him.

Summary

Summary
“‘This had better not be a confession of love,’ Levi remarks dryly, and it’s a private joke for himself to enjoy, a new way to suffer because it feels like he deserves to. He breathes in deep and waits for Erwin’s light gaze, for his typical scoff, for the real information. But Erwin is staring, staring hard.”
