Summary
It shouldn’t be anything unusual, really. They make each other lunch all the time whenever they can. However this particular one, like all the others these past three or so weeks, has heart shaped spam placed neatly on top.

Truly a masterpiece that captures how an immense love can turn into devastating grief. My heart was broken at the beginning of this fic but healed at the end of it.
Thank you author for my life.

Summary
Suho sleeps. He tries to read until his eyes get dry and achy. He answers questions. On a scale of 1-10, how much does it hurt? Do you remember what day it is? Can you try moving this arm? This leg?
He watches people. Doctors. Nurses. His grandmother. Sieun. Always Sieun. His strange group of loud, lively friends.
He tries to relearn what it means to be a person.
And underneath it all runs that same suffocating, angry current. That wave that keeps tugging at his legs, begging to pull him under.
Somewhere in the hollow cavern of his chest, a child won’t stop crying out,
Why me?
Or,
Snapshots of Suho’s recovery.

Summary
He dreams of the wind being knocked out of him, and he falls, and falls. He lands on his face and tastes bitter rubber and iron against his mouth, feeling heavy and weightless at the same time. As his ribs expand, and as the pain spreads through his aching limbs, he’s suddenly being yanked out by an overwhelming force—and he sees endlessly blue-yellow skies as his bleary vision accommodates, rays of blurry glimmering light peak through soft, shifting clouds. He hears a voice whisper by his ear, in a velvety soft timbre, deep and rich—comforting, indolent, whole. His heart stutters and all his feelings rush through him in waves upon tidal waves.
“Suho-ya,” the voice says.
He sinks, and doesn’t resist this time.
