“Why are you here?” Regulus asks, and Sirius seems to slowly be taking him in, because his brows furrow in obvious confusion. “You ran away. I believe your exact words were: ‘I’m never coming back to this hellhole.’” Regulus clarifies.
Sirius blinks. Regulus huffs, is it seriously that hard to process that your dead brother isn't dead?
“And yet here you are,” Regulus says, trying to reel in his temper. His brother is so dense. Ugh, Gryffindors.
Sirius continues to stare at him.
“Would you just bloody say something?” Regulus finally snaps, and Sirius startles.
“Regulus…” Sirius says, and at least he's finally saying something. “What–” Oh, nevermind.
Regulus rolls his eyes. “Oh, get over yourself.” He pushes past Sirius, who hardly tries to stop him.

Summary
Eddie's heart sinks. He scrubs his hands down his face and bites his lip so hard he tastes blood, to prevent himself from doing something stupid, like calling out for Buck or begging him to stay, after he all but dragged him out of his house. It takes a moment longer before he hears his front door open, then click closed. He let's out a breath he didn't even realize he was holding.
He stands there for what could be five seconds or five hours, either way it feels like a lifetime. He's not sure what to do with himself. He probably just ruined one of the most important relationships in his entire life because of how goddamn stupid he is. What does someone do after they ruin everything?

Buck loves Eddie, Eddie's stuck in a time loop. Everyone suffers.
