Luka’s obsession was a living thing, fed by the trauma that had warped his heart as much as his genetics had. Heperu’s abuse had taught him that love was survival, that letting go meant annihilation. Hyuna’s resistance, her muttered rejections, were just noise to him- temporary, fixable. She sat there, torn and beautiful, and he saw not her pain but his own salvation. His hand twitched, wanting to reach for her, to trace the lines of her wrist and anchor her to him, but he held back, knowing she’d recoil.
Instead, he let his words do the work, each one a chain disguised as devotion. Hyun Woo’s death, the violence he’d wrought, was a shadow he didn’t regret- it had been for her, to keep her close. In his fractured mind, she was safest with him, even if she bled for it. And as he watched her, his smile softened, but his eyes burned with the unshakable certainty that she’d never escape him, not really.

AITA for reaching out to my childhood friend
My only friend, someone who I reluctantly call a friend, got tired of hearing about my situation and strongly recommended that I post here. He’s the one person I can talk to about this, so I’m forced to post here now.
