a fatal flaw leading to the downfall of a tragic hero or heroine.Dean knew he was getting bad again, a little over a few months ago if you told him this is where he would be at again he would be shocked, he had just started to get better. The scars on his thighs were fading and he had started to only drink one beer a day. He had his girlfriend, Lisa and her son.
He remembered how messily it ended. She saw how much Dean was drinking again and kicked him out because she didn’t want her son to be around this which was fair enough– but it hurt more than anything in the world. He felt like his father.
Now here he was, back in the same place as he was before, as if the healing never happened. He thought that no matter how many times he would try, he would never be better. That he was destined to be in this position no matter what.

Dean had never considered himself a 'religious man', so to speak. Sure, a few times in his life he had found himself praying for a Lord who never answered, but that was only when he found himself in dire situations; like if him and Sammy would make it through the week as John had left them barely enough money to buy some off-brand chocolate bar, but he never actually believed in the higher power, or whatever they would call it. If he was real however, he doubted he would ever appreciate him anyway, he would most likely say to him something like; 'where were you when I cried out to you so many nights'? But for some unapparent reason on this Wednesday night, Dean found himself at the front steps of his local catholic church.
