Summary
Set post "The Reaper" ending, but instead of seeking fame and Glory V stays with Judy as they plan their future thanks to the mountain of eddies V has earned.
Alt was incorrect on a technicality, V is not dying, she already died, she is now a construct on The Relic gradually converting the body back to her own, despite what she was informed. A visit with Viktor confirmed that her brain is healing but she can't help but wonder why she feels so empty, why her victory feels so hollow.
The identity crisis of someone realizing they're a copy of the original. Someone else's face, thoughts, voice and memories. It all feels so real because it's genuinely all she's ever known. It's real to her but will it be the same for those she loves?

Summary
V has gone through so much to undo the choices made at Kompeki Plaza. Slotting the Relic was the catalyst for a seemingly non-stop, adrenaline-fueled, fever dream through Night City searching for the cure to fix her. After choosing to assault Araska Tower with Panam and the Aledcaldos, she finally thought she was at the trial's end; the end was in sight. But Alt lied to her, she fucked up leaving her with six months left to live. Not on her watch!
V was fed up; she wanted to start her life with Judy, who’d join her in fleeing Night City. V wanted to live, and she was going to find a way. Her journey takes her out of Night City for some much-needed R&R while they come to terms with past events. But time runs short, and V continues to have "episodes" - bloody noses, blackouts, strange dreams. She needed a fix, and she needed it sooner rather than later.
V and Judy journey to Phoenix to find Doctor Natasha Brooks, an ex-scientist at Biodyne Systems and creator of a unique series of Nanobots designed to fix damaged tissue in Multiple sclerosis patients. Could this be the cure she’s been searching for? Could she acquire them before her clock finally runs out?
