“I ruined Bruce’s life,” Dick said, so suddenly that Barbara’s hands froze on the computer keyboard.
“What?” she turned to him, taken aback.
“That’s right, don’t try to tell me it’s not true. I ruined his life.”
“What are you talking about?” she asked as Dick removed the cowl, his expression conflicted. He hated wearing it more than anyone else (he knew he didn't deserve it.)
"I'm talking about the fact that I sabotaged one of the few healthy relationships in his life," he said, twisting the cowl in his hands "As a kid, I knew Bruce loved Clark. It was so obvious. I didn't understand why he hesitated to admit his feelings. Sometimes, I resented him for it. But I get it now… he was too used to relationships ending badly… he wouldn't have tolerated it happening with Clark. And because of me, it ended so damn badly that Hal Jordan was sorry for him! Hal Jordan!”
Barbara interrupted him abruptly, " Don't take all the blame, you idiot. Because what happened was a family effort."

Clark and Bruce finally got together after years! All good, right? Too bad that, apparently, Clark is a bad boyfriend.

Summary
Batman is NOT anybody's father technically not even of Robin/Dick yes he may have taken the boy unders his wing but Dick is his ward not his son according to the judge.
Dick is his responsability and the boy wants to fight it's Batman's duty to make sure the kid those more than succeed he wants Dick to live.
And Batman also has a responsability with Robin's friends after all they are under his care even if the kids have technically mentors of their own.
So what if he has given them their telephone number to call to him in case of an emergency? what if he takes over their training when their mentors don't? what if he fills the gaps their mentors leave unatended? what if he makes sure they are well taken care of and feel safe?
That doesn't mean he is a father much less THEIR father
...Right?
