Summary
Wemmbu leaped over the bodies strewn across the floor of the Northern Council, flicking his sword and mace all around him, parrying attack after attack as he picked his way through to the stage that Lettuce made his speeches. By the time he fought his way there, he was more exhausted, if that was possible, and could barely keep from dropping his wind charges rather than throwing them. On top of the stage, he turned back, maybe for the last time, to survey the destruction the four of them had caused. The amount of red pooling on the floor close to blinded him with the sheer volume of it, and even he, someone who'd killed countless people for fun, flinched at the casualties. Salty sweat (it was just sweat, nothing else, he told himself. he couldn't allow himself to become soft with such an important battle ahead of him) dripped onto the stone below him, and he blinked it away, wiping his face with his cape, which had miraculously survived, and turning away dejectedly. The demon's head then whipped back around when a familiar voice shouted up at him from the battlefield.

Life as a vigilante was hard. All four of them knew that. They were happy to shoulder the pain and the responsibility, some less willingly. But that didn't stop Wemmbu from complaining about the boredom or Flame from grumbling about hell or Spoke and Parrot from trying to hide the pain and failing spectacularly. It was hard work, yes, but it was worth it. Even if only two of them cared about the people they saved.OR

This... unsure laugh leaves Katsuki. Furrows his brows. "You tryna gaslight me? I literally just fuckin' saw you sn—"
"I don't know what you're talking about." The asshole deadpans, grabbing his cup. Leaves with 100 grams of diabetes. "Take your pills, Bakugou."
"Hey." Frowning, he gazes over his shoulder. "Hey, asshat—"

During an attack at school, Midoriya gets hit by a quirk that leaves him infatuated with the first person he sees, which just so happens to be Todoroki Shouto. Due to an unfortunate side effect of the quirk, Midoriya breaks out into a horrible fever whenever they’re separated for too long, so Todoroki accepts the responsibility of caring for him until the quirk wears off.
