Cody slid his chair back with a clatter, and stood. “You did this,” he said. It was less of an accusation and more a statement of fact. “Why are you so surprised?”
Obi-Wan hummed. “I prefer to be prepared for the worst,” he said, but there was a mischievous twinkle in his eye as he left Cody to contemplate his first paycheck.
Cody takes Obi-Wan to Ragoon-6, and Obi-Wan takes Cody to Ilum. The thing between them is worked out somewhere in the middle.
