    Summary

A few years after the end of the Giant War, Percy has started having more and more dreams of demigods—young and old—being relentlessly pursued by monsters. What was once an occasional danger seems to be becoming more frequent, and now even their families are being put at risk.

As Percy becomes increasingly worried about the safety of his people, he starts wondering why Greek demigods have never had a permanent place of their own—a place where they can grow up, raise families, and have somewhere safe to return to after leaving Camp Half-Blood.

After talking it over with Annabeth, the two begin to consider an idea that could change the future of the Greek demigod world: building a city of their own, modeled after New Rome, on an island off the coast of Long Island.

Of course, building a city from scratch is easier said than done.
But if they can pull it off, they might just give future generations of demigods something they've never had before: a home.

Or: Percy decides "If romans have that, why can't we?"

    Summary

Ironically, it all starts because Slider had gotten another call from Cyclone, several weeks after everything had settled down after the Mission and it’s aftermath.

Rubbing a hand to the permanent wrinkle he could feel forming between his brows. “. . . and you’re calling me about this, why?”

'Because I have it on good authority that you’re the best person to deal with Hot Shot Pilots and their problems.' Cyclone said bluntly. (And if it was coming from anyone else, Slider would have suspected a humorous aspect to the statement.) 'I’m currently reviewing some options for Lt. Seresin at the moment, but I’ll send you over his files — let me know what you think.'

And Slider has to give the man credit for the balls on him, cause he hangs up on him.

FYI: Reading Part 1 will help in understanding where this story is coming from.

Quick Summary: In Part 1, Rooster was shot when they had the Dog Fight with the Fifth Gens, and Maverick freaks out of course. He'll still be recovering during this fic.

    Summary

Jake “Seresin” Hangman was diagnosed with ADHD at 8 years old. He then removed all evidence of it so he could go to the Navy.

He learnt to hide it, he got good at hiding it. Then then the mission happens and his head gets screwed up. No one talks about the difficulty of managing you mental health while having ADHD.

But Rooster is there for Hangman.

Definitely not projecting my own ADHD onto Hangman in some ways (I am.) Also I’m from England but I’ll try with the American slang correct me if I’m wrong :)
