Summary
The king-size bed in Aspen’s apartment sneaks closer to becoming a full-blown nest every time the Normandy docks at the Citadel.
Most of the time Garrus is the culprit, being of a species hardwired to make their sleeping space as comfortably concave as possible.
But occasionally, Aspen will see the words memory foam or synthesised down on a packaging label and it’s like she’s temporarily possessed by the spirit of a dragon that has a particular taste for bedding. It’s utterly bizarre, totally unfamiliar, and she’s wondered more than once whether this is how everyone who owns their own place feels. Like there’s nothing and nobody who can stop her, so she just buys pillows.

Summary
“I’m just simulating a real kitchen environment,” Kuroo argues, sidling closer to you. “You’ve watched The Great British Bake Off, you know the contestants have to juggle their baking, the time-limit, and those mid-round interviews with the hosts.”
Scoffing, you rest a hand on one of his broad shoulders, though you’re torn as to whether you want to push him away or pull him closer.
“Is that so,” you ask, amused. “I don’t remember any of the contestants having to deal with a lumbering 6’2” man who can’t keep his hands or mouth to himself, strangely enough.”
“Ah… you must’ve missed that episode,” Kuroo nods his head understandingly, as though forgiving you for such a misdeed.
Vignettes of a soft, romantic day where you make the grave mistake of baking during a heatwave. Alternatively titled: The Great British Bake Off if it was mildly horny and Japanese.

Summary
“I’ve got a favor to ask.”
You pause. “...Hajime?”
“Yeah. Sorry. I didn’t mean to just jump in.” He sounds sheepish now, winded, like he’s halfway between drills. “But this is kind of urgent.”
There’s a rustle on the other end of the line, a pause, and then:
“Tooru’s moving to Argentina next week.”
Sometimes doing charity work for an old acquaintance isn't so bad.
