Summary
There’s always someone else’s bruises littering Jabber’s skin. Zanka has never taken that as a personal affront before. An unscathed Jabber would be downright mythological. Not to mention how stupid he would have to be to think Jabber would pass up any opportunity to indulge in the abuse he constantly craves.
But that bootprint square in the middle of his chest is undeniably claiming. Not some anonymous mark by some random nobody on the Raider’s shit list. It may as well be a personal brand, one binding Jabber’s pain and punishment to Zodyl.
It has Zanka’s blood boiling more than anything Jabber has said so far.
OR
Jabber seeks Zanka out after getting his ass handed to him by Zodyl. Zanka makes sure Jabber knows his claim is the only one that counts.

“Of course I am.” Haitham huffs. His skin is on fire everywhere they connect, fog swirling around his head.
“Well, I hope you can figure out how to feel better.” Kaveh says, standing back up, “I’m a bit occupied right now.”
“Kaveh!” Haitham snaps, too dizzy to stand up on his own anymore, “Don’t! Please."
