Maybe he’s dreaming of a version of events where when they find Cíbola and there’s the rush of adrenaline in their veins and Abigail loops her arms around his neck and pulls him in for a deep, searing kiss that tastes better than the discovery of gold could ever feel. Where Ben pulls them both down into the bed and Riley finally gets the chance to worship them both and maybe, in his wildest fantasies, they return the favor to Riley.
