"What do you even do in church..?" Reki asked in such delicious irony that Langa's excitement shot through the roof. It would have hit the bells of the steeple.
Suddenly the adrenaline of sacrilege was burning beneath Langa's skin. It was almost a mixture of spite and hubris. Whatever it was was intoxicating and spurred some words he'd never thought he'd say.
"I'll show you." Langa said with the conviction needed before praising God. Or getting Reki to praise him. The latter, absolutely.
