“Well…” Hizashi offers him a smile, lifting their hands so he can kiss them. “If you’re not mad at me, then I’m not mad at you! Apologies all around! How about we say all’s forgiven?”
Shouta huffs a laugh, a small smile crossing his face, and he counts that as a win.
He beams, leans in to curl his arms around Shouta’s middle again. “Ah, that’s a weight off my heart, Shou, you have no idea,” he says, relief in his voice, words said right against his husband’s neck. Without thinking about it, he presses a kiss right against the exposed skin, enjoying the small shiver it elicits. “I don’t know what I was going to do if I came in and somehow fucked up the cherry pie, y’know? Like if a pie can’t make you happy then I dunno what will. Well, sex. Great, now I’m thinking about pie and sex - Shouta, I think I’m hungry.”
Shouta stills in his arms.
“Y’know,” he hears Shouta say, tone odd, “maybe I would like to give you a punishment after all.”

They both have a bad day. Hizashi brings home a pie, they talk things out, and then Shouta has an idea to use the pie make them both feel better.
