Dimple peered at Reigen again, as he had these few weeks of their acquaintance. There was nothing to him, right? Nothing at all? Reigen appeared as still as the air outside, as spiritually empty as the profoundly average client at his side. Mob, in contrast, shone at the edges, with an occasional spitting tempestuousness; he held back what he was, barely.
But as Reigen led the client outside, Dimple felt it again – that sense of hawks circling, something in the shadows there. Something hungry.
