Summary
Beomgyu has heard of spontaneous bonds, but he’s never actually met someone who had bonded unintentionally. It sounds completely fake, like something out of a very bad movie. It shouldn’t be real. Friends might marry, but friends don’t mate.
Soobin touches his mating bite lightly, his expression twisted with surprise, as though the stinging isn’t enough proof. It feels wrong to stare at him when he’s in such a vulnerable place, but Beomgyu has already seen every inch of him. “I think… It made sense, in the moment.” His voice is unsure, unsteady. “Like it was the only thing I could reasonably do.”

Beomgyu’s eyes widened faintly. “You’re in rut?”
“You triggered it,” Soobin growled softly, dipping his head once more to drag his tongue slow and deep through Beomgyu’s folds. “Of course I am.”
Beomgyu whimpered, his hands clutching fistfuls of Soobin’s hair, hips instinctively rolling into the pressure of his alpha’s mouth and fingers still deep inside him.
“I tried to wait,” Soobin muttered against him. “Tried to wake you gently. But fuck, Gyu-yah—you were soaking. Wearing my sweater. Laying there all soft and perfect and mine.” He pressed a kiss to Beomgyu’s inner thigh, then licked up a trail of slick. “How the hell was I supposed to stay calm?”

Summary
If the house is cold and daunting, then the outside is cruel. It makes him stand up as well, the blanket on his shoulder slipping away with a whoosh of air and another candle gives out. Two of four. Soobin is covered in shadow.
Beomgyu says, "I'll come with you."
"No," Soobin turns down right away. "It's dangerous."
