Summary
Ilya stumbles back, blindly reaching for the door. “You should call your girlfriend. I will — ”
Shane’s head turns fully to look at him. The look in his eyes is devastating. Ilya’s hand, slick with sweat, slips.
“I don’t want Rose,” Shane gasps. “I want you.”

Hendery nods dutifully along to Sicheng’s droning explanations, affixes his signatures to documents when prompted, and after just fifteen minutes, leaves the building with his spanking new employment contract clutched to his chest and an impressively clammy handshake from Sicheng.
“Welcome to 1-800-LOVE-TALK,” Sicheng says in that same flat, disinterested voice, followed by the slogan Hendery had seen printed on a fading banner hung up in the office premises. “‘We gonna have a good time’.”
And just like that, Hendery’s hired for the world’s first multilingual sex hotline.
(Hendery's a barista by day, and mans a sex hotline at night. It's pretty much what he expects until, one fine evening, a certain DJ starts lighting up his line.)

Kun’s voice is hoarse, cracking with the force of his words. “You should have left me there.”
“I wouldn’t,” Ten says.
“Why not?” The words are splintering, fracturing, bullets carving their way through glass. “It’s not like you haven’t done it before.”

“Well.” Ten lifts his chin, haughty, defiant. “I’m here now, aren’t I?”
He’s here now in a rural area of China bordering Tibet with no work, no cats, no distractions. He’s here now, trying to figure out why it still feels like Kun is lying to him. He’s here now with Kun. For Kun.
I missed you, Kun had said, even when they were an arm’s length apart. That part, Ten thinks, is true. And suddenly, and even though he’d been thinking about its impossibility, about its ridiculousness, all Ten can think is I missed you, too.
Maybe Kun senses it. Maybe he doesn’t. Either way, Kun looks at him for as long as he dares to keep his eyes off the road, and Ten sees an expression he doesn't recognise cross his face before Kun turns away, eyes fixed firmly ahead.
“Yeah,” Kun says. “Yeah, you are.”
(or: Kun and Ten make it to Sichuan after all.)

“We,” Kun says, then pauses for dramatic effect. “Are the Men in Black.”
Yangyang waits for him to elaborate. Kun does not. Yangyang’s eyes slide from Kun’s nice black suit to Hendery’s slime-coated one.
“Wow,” he coughs. “Very, uh. Imaginative.”
“We monitor alien activity,” Hendery clarifies helpfully.
Yangyang thinks back to the sign over the building. “Like the immigration people?” he asks, and Kun looks about two seconds away from rolling his eyes so hard they fall out of his head.
(An unfortunate run-in leaves Yangyang and Hendery stuck ‒ like, stuck stuck. The only way to separate them? Yangyang needs to achieve his heart's desire by the next full moon.
Luckily, Hendery's there to help him figure out exactly what that is.)

“I said,” Dejun says, twin spots of colour appearing on his cheeks. “That it’s also my birthday.”
“Like, today?”
“Yeah,” Dejun says.
“Really?”
“Yes.”
“Oh.” Yangyang sits back on his haunches, thinking. “Um. Do you want two blowjobs, then?”

Summary
Sicheng had told Kun that this university could be a little wild. As one of the few humans on a supernatural campus, Kun understands where he's coming from, but also ‒ how bad could things be?
That's what he thinks before he meets Chittaphon ‒ and, also, Ten.

"I’m great at getting out of things,” Ten says. “Ropes. Handcuffs. My clothes.”
There’s a pause. Kun squints. “Are you flirting with me?”
“Depends.” Ten flutters his lashes in a way that he hopes is construed as flirtatious, and not indicative of an optical disease. “How open are you to the idea of me flirting with you?”

Summary
“It’s, um,” Renjun says after about thirty million years of silence. “I’m just concerned about the ‒ you know ‒ the, um, the person I would be working with.”
Kun blinks. “You mean Yangyang?”
Yes, of fucking course, Yangyang.
“Um,” Renjun says, because he can’t say that. “Yes.”
“What about him?”
“He’s just so… And I’m so…”
Basically, what Renjun wants to say is this: Yangyang plays loud hip-hop garbage noise for unemployed, unhinged people and makes crass, inappropriate jokes on public radio while I play actual music for people who actually have jobs and I actually comply with the region’s broadcasting standards.
Except he can’t say that or he’ll get fired. So.
𑁋
Renjun can't think of anyone less like him than Yangyang. When they're thrown together to co-host a radio show, though, he must look past their differences, and, in the course of doing so, begins to see Yangyang in a brand new light.

Summary
Ten had been in love, once.
Now, his eyes alighting on the familiar figure of Qian Kun, old memories and feelings long buried rushing back to the surface, Ten is confronted with the awful realisation that perhaps ‒ just perhaps ‒ he still is.
𑁋
Following the death of his father, Ten Lee ‒ beautiful, privileged, and now in dire financial straits ‒ is forced to lease out his ancestral home to make ends meet.
This one decision brings Qian Kun, renowned airship captain, into Ten's life. Kun is rich, handsome, and on the hunt for a spouse.
Oh ‒ and he also happens to be Ten's ex-fiancé.

Summary
Dejun’s eyes glimmer, and Kun thinks of stars spread out across a midnight sky. Dejun’s fingers graze his collarbone as he drops his hand, and Kun thinks of meteors splintering as they pass through the atmosphere, fracturing, disintegrating into dust. He feels like that sometimes, caught between his desire and his sense of propriety. Dejun is so beautiful, so unbelievably talented, so full of love that he brims with it, that it spills over his edges. These past few months have been hell, and when it seems like every other member is pulling away, it’s Dejun who stays; it’s Dejun who grounds Kun, who brings him back down to earth. Or maybe it’s the other way around, and maybe Kun has been caught up in Dejun’s orbit all along.
(Or: The Kick Back stage brings Kun and Dejun closer, in more ways than one.)

“It’s not that I don’t appreciate it, but… When am I even going to wear this?” Kun asks desperately.
Yangyang’s eyes flick to the side. Kun follows his gaze, curious, but sees that he’s only looking at Ten who, in turn, is staring contemplatively at some of their Fendi photoshoot pictures Dejun’s pulled up on his phone.
Kun’s attention snaps back to Yangyang when he amiably pats him on the shoulder. “Oh,” he says cheerfully. "I’m sure you’ll find an occasion."
(or: Kun's Secret Santa gift yields a surprising reaction from the person he was least expecting.)

Summary
“Kun?” Ten blinks blearily, voice sluggish with sleep. “What are you doing in my bed?”
It's then that Kun realises three things:
- He and Ten slept together last night (figuratively; not for the first time).
- He and Ten slept together last night (literally; for the first time).
- In the hazy white-gold light of the new day, Ten looks sleep-soft and beautiful, and Kun feels the strong ‒ no, the overwhelming ‒ urge to lean down and kiss him.
Oh.
Oh, no.
(Ten and his obnoxious habits should set alarm bells ringing, but in the heat of summer sunshine, Kun just can't seem to stay away.)

“What’s with you?” Kun asks a couple of days later when Yangyang pours what he thought was milk, but is in fact orange juice, into his morning cereal. “You’re even more distracted than usual. Did a new game come out, or something?”
Yangyang stares at the sad, soggy mess of his breakfast, and figures that if there’s anyone who can help him, it’s Kun.
“What does it mean if two guys who are friends kiss?” he asks, and Kun promptly chokes on his food.
𑁋
Renjun likes Yangyang. Renjun is in love with Yangyang. The only person in the world who isn’t aware of this is? Probably Yangyang himself.
That is, until Renjun kisses him, and everything as Yangyang knows it changes.

“The drinks are free,” the man says. His voice is surprisingly deep. “It’s an open bar.”
“Ah, it is?” Baekhyun says, feigning surprise. “Sorry, I just got here.”
“Really,” the man says tonelessly. He looks like he sees right through Baekhyun’s attempts at flirting and is already angling his body away, like he doesn’t intend to let this conversation go on any further.
Too bad Baekhyun’s always liked a challenge.

Summary
Ten releases his breath in one long, controlled exhale and falls back in his seat, equal parts numb and flattered and everything in between. “Oh my god,” he says, and for some reason it comes out less playful and more breathless. “You were so into me.”
Across from him, Kun doesn't flinch. He leans his head back against the headrest, and when he rolls his neck to look at Ten, his gaze is steady.
“I was,” he says simply, and for one incomprehensible, hysterical moment, Ten almost wishes he had said I still am instead.

Summary
“Hey,” Dejun yells (he may or may not get water in his mouth), only very slightly panicking. “What happened last night? Did someone dye my hair again because I lost a game? I thought we agreed that hair was off-limits ‒ ”
He raises his head to squint at his reflection to assess the damage, and his already very bad morning gets a thousand ‒ no, a million ‒ times worse.
Because it's not his face that stares back at him.
It's Yangyang's.
Forget sunshine and alarms ‒ Dejun's resulting scream is shrill enough to wake up the entire dorm.
𑁋
Dejun and Yangyang are soulmates. Dejun and Yangyang have swapped bodies.
Dejun can't decide which is worse.
