Luffy tugged, and Zoro let himself be tugged, stepping into the space between Luffy's knees where the counter put him at almost the right height. Luffy's hands found the hem of Zoro's shirt, still worn from sleep, and Zoro let his own hand come up to rest against the side of Luffy's neck, careful of the bruise blooming under his jaw. He let his thumb stay there a beat longer than the moment strictly called for.
"You're freezing," Zoro said against his mouth. "And you're dripping on my floor."
"So warm me up."
It wasn't the wound that needed tending anymore. Zoro understood that much. Luffy came here after nights like this one not because a countertop first-aid kit was the best care he could get. Chopper ran a vet clinic two blocks from the docks as a front, and would've done a cleaner job on that eyebrow than Zoro ever could. He was who Luffy's crew went to when something needed real treatment. Luffy came here because this was the part of the night where he got to stop being the person the rest of the crew needed him to be.

He had solved the hunger quite easily- but the loneliness...
There was no easy way for a mutant zombie to gain some company in the midst of a global apocalypse.
Lucky for him he still looked a little human.Or, Luffy was born as a zombie and decides that the best way to not be alone is to pretend to be human! Good thing he was great at following his instincts.

“What’s your name?” he asks, because if their patient is conscious, he might as well tell them. There’s something uncomfortably detached about referring to someone as “that guy” when you’ve seen half of their innards spilling out. “I’m Sanji,” he offers when he gets no immediate response, and he itches for a cigarette to entertain himself with while the man pulls his feet under him like a newborn lamb.
In the faint moonlight and backlit with the light from the hallway, he’s both deathly pale and bathed in shadows that make him look gaunt and distraught. His hand reaches up to his throat, not touching, just hovering, and he opens his mouth on a word, his lips dry, pink with small cracks that threaten to break and well up with blood. No sound leaves him.
His hand drops, mouth closing with a clack of teeth gnashing together, swallowing down ire instead of words.
Sanji frowns. “Can you talk?”
His stomach drops at the glare that earns him. Vicious and a little wild around the edges, like he’s mad Sanji even dared to ask.

Their reunion at Saobody Archipelago goes a little differently, because Luffy keeps making Zoro sleep in his bed, and it's all kinda confusing, and Zoro doesn't know what it means. Does he have anything to lose by confessing?
