After all, Han Taesan was the exact opposite of him. Where Sungho was clean, Taesan was messy, and where Taesan was reckless, Sungho was careful. By six thirty in the morning, Sungho would already be halfway through his daily cup of coffee while Taesan would emerge from his own bedroom an hour later, hair ruffled and eyes sleepy. At eleven, Taesan would be blasting Oasis and My Chemical Romance from his comically large speakers while Sungho would cover up his ears with his pillows, desperately trying to ignore the ruckus in the room beside him. Woonhak looked wrecked. His face was flushed crimson, sweat beading along his jaw, his collarbones, then disappearing into the neckline of an oversized hoodie he'd clearly thrown on in haste.
“Hyung,” Woonhak breathed, voice wrecked. The word sounded younger than usual, vulnerable in a way that made Sanghyuk's chest ache with protectiveness. “I'm sorry. I didn't—I thought I was being quiet, I—”
“You weren't,” Sanghyuk said, not unkindly. “…Are you okay?”
Woonhak's laugh was brittle, desperate, bordering on hysterical. “I wish.”

Riwoo turned, mock-offended. “Maybe I just have more guts. At least I wouldn’t hide in the kitchen.”
Taesan opened his mouth to reply, but the bell above the door chimed again, drawing Riwoo’s attention toward the entrance.
Sungho patted Taesan’s back with a grin. “Don’t mind him. He just doesn’t understand romance yet.”or: Riwoo never understood why his friends acted so intense about romance and crushes - until Woonhak introduced them to his cousin Jaehyun. Suddenly 'intense' is not nearly enough to describe what goes on inside Riwoo's chest.
