Summary
"I know you have trouble thinking, Pyro. What that means is that if you're a person, I don't need you. So, tell me: I'm curious. Are you a person?"
Pyro squeezes his eyes shut, another few tears falling despite his effort to keep them in. It isn't a choice and Pyro doesn't want to die.
"...No. I'll be your doll."
~~~
or: Pyro 'messes up' one too many times and Scott decides to take away his personhood. This is awful for every unfortunate soul that gets involved.
Summary
Pyro stops walking and sits himself down on a curb, curling into a little ball with his head on his knees. He doesn’t want to do that. He doesn’t want to do any of this anymore. He doesn’t want to think.
Damn it all to hell.
Sixty bucks left until his next paycheck is perfectly fine. He can spend the extra thirty on… on usual college student activities, for once.
He doesn’t have to think.~~~
or: pyro is having a terrible time at college after having been cut off entirely by his family. he decides to get drunk about it, and goes deep into the city to achieve that. this is a dire mistake.
“Are you sure you can fix this?”
“You trust me, right, Pyro? You know I only want what’s safest?”
“I trust you, sir.”
“Then don’t question me.”~~~
or: human scott vampire pyro but pyro is a fresh turn and desperately hungry and scared and scott takes advantage of that. he has eaten a bit too much and now his eyes are red. scott is (very generously) going to help him fix that situation.
Summary
“You asked me how I decide what is good. And you asked questions, you did, but nothing truly argumentative or disagreeable.”
Scott just stares at him, and Legundo finds himself irritated that the man is sticking to his word of not interrupting.
“Yet I somehow fail to believe that you agree wholeheartedly. So, Mr. Goldsmith. I want you to tell me how you decide what is good.”
~~~
or: Doctor Legundo walks into a bar. Scott Goldsmith takes a bit of an "interest". They flirt, they talk. They do not think alike.
or or: self indulgent bloodloathing where i get to force these men to flirt for 1k words then yap about moral philosophy for 3k words.

Summary
Scott speaks quietly in his ear. “Good morning. Did you rest well?”
After which he just stays like that, palm resting over Pyro’s trachea, body close and cold and still and the two of them are facing the open door, a reminder that nobody else is here, anymore. No privacy is needed for this. No designed pretense to send the others away, no excuses for why Pyro should stay behind.
Nothing.
Because everyone else is dead.

Summary
When Scott went to the trouble of finding a magic user to help him sustain his immortality, even against vampiric means of death, it seemed like a great idea. He wanted to live forever, and the magic made sure that a little stake of wood couldn't be the thing to do him in. Which was shown to be necessary, considering the attack on him that occurred soon thereafter.
Unfortunately, it seems that the upset masses scrounged themselves up a magic user too. No one so talented or skilled, of course. Only money can bring that. But the witch got their job done in a simpler way.
By enchanting the tomb they shoved him into to never open again.
—
Or: Scott was awake for the 600 years that he was locked in a tomb. No amount of vampirism or stubbornness can save him from the horrific effects of such sensory deprivation.

Summary
Waking up from a 600-year long cursed sleep—and finding his manor and town completely destroyed—inspires a lot of feelings in Scott. Anger. Vengefulness. Annoyance. Hatred. Insatiable hunger for human flesh and blood.
But more than anything, he is reallyyyyyy tired.
Too tired to bother with an elaborate song and dance for the human intruders in Oakhurst.
—
Or: Scott is 10% tireder when he wakes up from his slumber and doesn't hide that he's a vampire from the beginning.

After her father's death, Shelby's mother sends her to live with her distant cousin. Scott Goldsmith's Manor is beautiful, and much too large for just him, his butler, and his gardener, so he welcomes his cousin with open arms. In the enormous library of the Manor, she searches for answers - proof of what happened to her father. But she soon may find that the proof she is seeking may be closer, and hungrier, than she ever thought.
