Felix just watched her quietly. 'So that's what she's doing...She's finding comfort in cigarettes and they help her calm down, while destroying her lungs.' He huffed before reaching for the cigar in her mouth, throwing it to the ground then stepping on it. "Not on my watch, you're not doing this. You need help and I can help you, I want to actually. So better start talking with me" he saw her defiant look while she reached for another cigarette "and don't you dare lit another. I don't want to blackmail you into telling me what's wrong but I will do that if you don't talk by yourself." He had no intention to scare her, but he just couldn't bear watch her waste away like that.

No other words were spoken between them, but what more was there to say? Marinette was just too overjoyed to have him back, and she wouldn't dare ruin the moment by saying something stupid. Instead she chose to focus on the feeling, to memorize every aspect of the moment, and ingrain it deep inside her brain. She tried to store everything, the rhythm of his breath, his smell, the warmth of his skin, and the arm embracing her, though her process was interrupted by a flicker of light.

When you are a kid, you are still a blank canvas. You start from nothing and you slowly add color by creating bonds, feeling all kind of things, finding passions. But that canvas can also be affected if u put too much pressure onto it. And if you do it for too long, then it might break and your work of art will start falling apart.
Marinette was a bright kid, with lovely parents, great friends and a passion for designing. But when responsibilities become overbearing, her canvas slowly breaks, and the lovely picture of her life falls apart. -
