The one thing he is able to do when all else fails. Nothing comes close to the power of God in his eyes, not even his own desires of the flesh. And those, well, he has many. Still, here he is. A seminarian. A candidate. About to be ordained as a transitional deacon. As pure as he can be, in every sense of the word. It’s his last night as simply Clark Kent. Tomorrow changes everything.
Bruce has been in love with Clark for as long as he can remember. Even as a child, as a teen. Loving Clark Kent came as natural to him as breathing. From the moment they first met, merely months after he had lost his parents, nothing comes close to Clark Kent in his eyes. Not even the people he has been with were enough to forget.
