Summary
This is a series about Shadow living with the Wachowskis and learning how to manage his grief/trauma while also finally getting to experience everything that is supposed to come with being a kid/teenager in an actual loving and supportive home.
Shadow will also have to deal with whatever unspoken feelings keep bubbling up between him and Sonic. Very slow burn though. Teenage fluff.

He sighed and brought a paw down to blue quills, slowly grooming the knots and tangles out of them. Sonic complied and laid his head down more, allowing better access for them to get cleaned. The voices around him laughed and whispered about the rest of their daily plans. And dare Shadow mention that it was...
It was perfect.
The chattering around them slowly came to a stop and Shadow raised his head. He was greeted with the odd smiles of his teammates and a blue hedgehog letting out a small murr in his lap.
“Soooo,” Amy started, “Shadow! Sonic, do you have anything you’d like to tell us?”
The two hedgehogs turned to each other, raising a brow before turning back to Amy. Shadow just shrugged before returning to messy blue quills
“No?” Sonic said. A small grin sat on his face, “I mean there was this one time I-“
Shadow snorted, looking at his teammates' twitching eyes and awkward smiles. He finished the last knot and reached around, squeezing a glove-covered paw. The purr in Sonics chest only got louder
Yeeep. He sighed, This was perfect.
