“Well, I was just thinking,” Hollander says, “that the guys might be interested to hear that you...have a type?” Marly could swear Shane’s eyes glanced in the direction of Scott Hunter. Could swear too that Roz tracked the movement.

Summary
Shane was exhausted. If he were honest with himself he had been for years. He forced that exhaustion so deeply inside him that it began to settle in his bones. He gave and gave but it was never enough. He wanted to be brave, for himself, for Ilya. Fuck, he wanted more time with him, finally together. His heart ached when they were apart.
He was brave once, he could be brave again. He could choose himself, choose Ilya.
