Summary
Life has been good and sweet on Dragonstone. Two-and-ten years of happiness made the lady Jena Dondarrion believe herself one of the fortunate few. But peace in the Seven Kingdoms is seldom more than a fragile illusion. After all, a strange anguish has been resting upon her heart, one she can't shake away, even more so as Prince Baelor prepares to leave for the tourney at Ashford Meadow.
Yet some days, remembered later, carry the quiet weight of endings, and only in hindsight do we realise they came from a time we were happier than most. -
