Yoona had hoped that her screen was off by the time that Jinsol picked it up, but judging from Jinsol's face, that was not the case. Jinsol looks down at the screen with amusement, looking at the blank message thread between Yoona and Jiwoo and the lonely ‘heyyy’ sitting unsent in the text box.
“Oh my god,” Jinsol laughs, walking over to hand the phone back to Yoona. “This is why you were so bothered!”

Yoona tucked her head into Jinsol’s shoulder, breathing in the scent of the younger girl. Jinsol’s pheromones were hard to describe—sweet, warm, not overpowering, but enough to make her feel grounded.
“Just so you know,” Yoona whispered. “If you’re bad at this, I’m finding someone else.”
Jinsol tensed up, tightening her hold on Yoona’s waist. “I’m not letting you find anyone else.”
“That confident.”
“Not confidence,” Jinsol looked down at her. “I just don't want anyone else touching you.”
Yoona looked up into her eyes. She saw sincerity, heat, and a hint of that pouty look that seemed to say I'm already doing my best and you're still teasing me.
Her heart did a slow somersault. Suddenly, she really wanted to kiss Jinsol.
So she did.
