    Louis knows that, despite their relationship dynamic, Armand is the one with the power.

    He’s older, stronger, wiser, and just overall more powerful. Louis could never beat him if it ever came to a serious fight. Armand could crush him flat easily.

    It's why, despite his rage and betrayal, Louis knows the most he can get away with is pushing the man away and hopefully protecting Daniel.

    He knows that the most he can do is leave him.
    Expect... he doesn't have the power to do that either.

    Would a manipulative, desperate, obviously obsessive lover like Armand really let Louis just walk out that door and end a 77 year relationship he’s busted his ass for and literally tortured and killed people to maintain?

    After Dubai, a 'single' Louis buys a townhouse in the Garden District of New Orleans. Every other night, Louis will sit on his balcony and on each and every one of those nights, Armand and Lestat prowl around on the sidewalk below, circling like sharks, awaiting Louis to welcome one of them come and spend the evening with him.

    Some nights, Louis will send them away with their tails tucked between their legs. Other nights, Louis allows Armand to join him. Or, he'll beckon Lestat to his chambers. And occasionally, he will request both of them to lavish him with attention.
