Summary
Tywin Lannister has ruled as king since the fall of the Targaryen dynasty, earning the respect of the people even if not their love. He's quashed an Ironborn rebellion and, more recently, an attempt to install a supposed Targaryen prince.
Sansa Stark's father chose the wrong side in the latter, believing there was more honor in restoring the house that had forged the iron throne than in supporting the man who claimed the throne through trickery, betrayal, and butchery.
