Summary
A set of cold, stiff fingers thread their way through Arthur’s curls. “And when do you plan on bringing him back?”
Arthur shifts, letting his eyes fall shut. The evening hustle and bustle of Arkham drifts up towards them from the street. It’s not hard to picture what’s going on below, having lived in Arkham his whole life and with Parker as his eyes.
Arthur contemplates the question, humming and tilting his head. It’s a bit before he answers, as he struggles to come up with an answer and honestly wishes to never address the topic again. The idea of addressing anything, doing anything, continuing to be anyone, is exhausting to think about.
"I don't know."
Arthur is so, so tired.

In my opinion, Arthur finally getting to see his husband could've been a lot more emotional. And had a lot more marriage.

When the diner touched down somewhere in Andromeda, Leif wasn't expecting much. He had been back in the kitchen, prepping the stove for today's shift. However, his task was quite abruptly interrupted when Caspar had run back into the kitchen, practically vibrating in place.
"Look!" He exclaimed, jabbing his finger in the direction of the window. Curious, Leif walked from the kitchen to see where they landed.
Surrounding the diner's immediate vicinity was a field. Not of crops, but a flower field. Namely, sunflowers.
Conveniently, that was Caspar's favorite flower.

The diner touches down somewhere in Andromeda. A sunflower field is perfect for a picnic.

The lands are still as the blue sky rises.
It's Carcosa's version of what, on Earth, would be considered nighttime. A darkness shrouds the land. Well, dark compared to the red or purple sky.
Illuminated in the sky's azure glow is the castle of Carcosa, where the ruler of these lands lay his head. Not that he needs it, of course. But, occasionally, a human method of rest was welcome. As of this moment, the King in Yellow — labeled 'Hastur' by those who feared not for their existence — was handling issues with his congregation, who had gathered to moan and complain exceedingly loud lest they not be heard.
However, not all of the King's family was present.
