Summary
Turning back the clock seven years, the Kuja Pirates have a fateful encounter with an enemy crew. Blood dripping from her clenched fists, Hancock has to let them go; they dared use Kuja as shields.
With depleted morale and seething fury, it's in Amazon Lily where she learns the truth of the Crown Pirates. Rogue privateers once employed by the Pressian Empire of the South Blue—a name she knew well enough to despise on principle alone.
Not alone in her ambition for settling a score, Hancock must negotiate with a World Noble in order to keep her Warlord title. A man she'd rather kill than ever bargain with. Immediately the idea is discarded, repulsive in its entirety; never again would she be reduced to asking anything from anyone. Even if it damned her homeland.
Yet, while the world would forgive her most heinous act, could she forgive herself if harm came to her sisters because of her own decisions?
The answer was no. Simple as that. And so she chose the only path left to her.

Yes, I see the potential this ploy has. To enter Ba Sing Se, for the king to consider me an ally. To achieve what no one has ever done. Take the impenetrable city from the inside. What I must do is clear.
“It's a deal.”Princess Azula has assembled an elite team to pursue her traitorous uncle and disgrace of a brother. At least, that was their original target. The elusive Avatar escaped her fire in Omashu, something unforgivable. Now, she has a third mark.
In the wake of the battle against the Kyoshi Warriors, Ozai's Angels learn where the end of the line is. The Avatar heads for Ba Sing Se, and the princess is hot on his trail. However, the trio doesn't seem to have their old harmony. With every day that passes, the rift seems to grow. It's as if the friendship that brought them together is slipping through their fingers, soon to be lost along their innocence.
Catching the Avatar is paramount before they reach a breaking point.Well, dramatics aside, why I'm writing this is because I find Azula a fascinating character that deserved more screen time. I forever curse the live-action for robbing us of the fourth season, and her official redemption arc.

Summary
This far from the lights and sounds of the party the only thing Hancock can hear is the crashing of the waves, close to their feet—and the calming sound of Luffy, snoring loudly and contently, his chest rising and receding with each breath, just slightly out of sync with the sea. There’s just a little light, reflecting from the moon over the silvery dark waters, to see by, but enough to see clearly. And maybe it’s the combination of all these factors at once, of both safety and ambiguity, that makes Hancock even deign to consider answering the sniper seriously.
‘You love him,’ she says, staring out to the sea. She has one long leg crossed elegantly over the other, is reclining back with one arm draped over a knee, ‘and thus, I will compete with you for his affections.’
The sniper frowns. ‘When I said I loved him, I meant that as a friend, or a crew-member does. Like—a brother?’
For the first time in her life, Hancock confronts what it all really means—to love, and be loved, with her beauty.

Dan buys Henry his first baseball glove and comes over every Friday afternoon to play catch.
Blair watches them play together and keeps thinking back to when she'd asked Dan if he didn't think it would matter that her baby was another man's child so many years ago.
She remembers how, in that much too earnest way of his, he'd said, "It wouldn't to me."

Blair Waldorf doesn’t like being reminded of Dan Humphrey. But that gap-toothed, curly haired man certainly had a knack for being completely unavoidable.
Firstly, the man was her best friend’s husband.
Secondly, he was a journalist, so she was bombarded by constant reminders of him.
That insufferable social climber was everywhere. She couldn’t even check her phone without scrolling past his selfies with Nate Archibald on her Instagram feed. Talk about the ghost of boyfriends past, haunting her ad infinitum.
In other words, Blair Waldorf doesn’t like being reminded of Dan Humphrey, because it's like being reminded of a life she could have had with him.

There's something about this girl, like looking in a funhouse mirror a third of his size. “Oi, kid,” Toji says. “It’s you, isn’t it?”
The girl glares daggers at him from behind a pair of red-rimmed glasses too big for her tiny face. She’s looking at him like he’s totally crazy, which isn’t entirely untrue. “Huh? Who the heck are you?”
In lieu of answering, he asks, “What’s your name?”
The girl scowls. “Maki.”
“Maki,” he repeats, and it’s like a missing piece of his soul falls back into place. The record of his life before he fought the Six-Eyes brat is a long, impossibly white scroll of nothing -- but written on it in faint letters is the name of a child, a child with a delicate name that brushed the heavens, spun a prayer into letters; a name that began with an M, and it ended in i, too.
“Maki,” he says again. “I think you’re my daughter.”
