Lance had no clue. Not a one. Which was kind of hard to believe considering Kieth sometimes trailed behind Lance like a lovesick puppy. Summary
Todoroki Shouto had problems.
Naturally, his friends worried. But he had reached out, gotten help, and after hard work and a lot of time, he was doing much better. No, he wasn’t fully healed. Yes, he had his bad days. But recovery wasn’t linear, his therapist liked to remind him, and he was making progress. The problem was, his friends had never really talked about what they had gone through. They had sat with him through panic attacks, been in dozens of ER waiting rooms, and sacrificed so much to make sure he was okay.
Todoroki just wanted to do something nice for his friends to thank them. And of course, he had to do something absolutely phenomenal for one Katsuki Bakugou, who had done everything his friends had, and much more. Distracting them from the anniversary of his attempt was just a plus. That was why he was keeping secrets, avoiding them, and not sleeping. It would all be worth it once they saw the amazing party he was throwing for them.
But in hindsight, he probably should’ve at least told Bakugou.

He went still for few seconds, and I wondered if he had fallen asleep. But then he surged upwards, turning his head to the left so that his lips were a hair’s width away from my earlobe. It felt like electricity danced everywhere he touched me. His hand came up to cradle my cheek. More sparks. He lingered there for a second, achingly beautiful in the moonlight.
“I want you,” He whispered, his warm breath fanning across my cheek. “You’re the only thing that makes sense here. I want us. What do you want, Minho? Tell me.”
I want you. You, and you, and you. I want to kiss you until you forget your name, I want to push you until the lake and make out with you until your eyes go square. I want to ‘accidentally’ fall asleep in the same bed to let the entire fucking Glade know that you’re mine. I want to love you forever. So kiss me.
“I don’t know,” I lied.
