    “There’s no saddle.”

    “Oh, but brother—there will be.”

When the said saddle was brought out, Jason briefly thought he was going to faint.

There were twin iron eyebolts nailed deeply onto each side of the pommel, and on the seat itself, shining black and sticking from the center, was the long, erect replica of an alpha’s cock.

“You see… I’ve learned a thing or two during my studies with Lord Slade, including how to deal with recalcitrant conquests—cities and omegas alike… A parade through the capital, princess. On one of my horses, as a proof of your allegiance to me and my reign. Do that, and I will spare you, your city, and our surviving family.”

"Welcome to a new user experience! You have triggered this interface with the keywords, ‘Stupid game! Stupid devs! I want my f*****g money back!’ You are now bound to the character Tartaglia, the Eleventh Harbinger of the Fatui, codename: Childe! We hope you have an enjoyable user experience and we welcome you once again to Genshin Impact 2.0!”

Those are some of the first words Ajax, starving college student extraordinaire, has the misfortune of hearing upon waking up in a brave new world from what he's fairly sure is a very fatal accident involving water and a shit ton of electricity.

Okay, so he's not dead. That's good. But what's this about him being stuck playing the character Tartaglia? Tartaglia, as in the no-good, one-dimensional, cartoonish villain who met his untimely, gruesome death in the first act of the original game?

Forget this. Like hell Ajax is going to share that fate.

And so begins one man's journey to save himself from his awful destiny.

    Summary

It hurt his head to think about what he was doing prior to… this, but he was fairly certain he’d gone to bed. Like any normal day. He’d returned from his routine shift at the Fatui headquarters and gone back to his studio apartment to sleep. The first thing his slightly dumbfound mind managed to conjure up was that he’d been isekai’d, but it was thought with a mental laugh and a ‘yeah, sure’ followed right after.
Meaning the only feasible conclusion was that he was still asleep, and this was all a dream.

    -----------
Or, Ajax wakes up somewhere that looks suspiciously similar to Liyue, from Genshin Impact, the videogame; and resolves to change history.
