Shane Hollander has nothing in common with Ilya Rozanov. They come from different countries, play different sports, grew up in very different families. But they've somehow ended up at the same American university, pledging the same fraternity. And that wouldn't be a problem for Shane, if only they hadn't hooked up the year before. And if only there weren't one more huge difference: Shane is definitely not gay, and Rozanov has apparently sucked so many dicks that he doesn't even remember sucking Shane's.
At least Shane can pretend it never happened and get back to being his old self, who knows exactly what he wants out of college. He just has to keep his new, infuriating frat brother from derailing his plans.

By the time Shane Hollander starts the descent from Eagle Summit toward Slaven’s Cabin, he is feeling good about the upcoming miles. This is before he feels the wind turn, and Jane, his lead dog, starts acting up.
Ilya Rozanov sees his past, present and future flash in front of his eyes as his sled hits ice at a weird angle, breaking a skate and probably his right arm at the same time. And if it was not enough, he has a first seat to the clouds coming toward Eagle Summit, the very one he is now stranded on.

In which a contender for the race turns around because he trusts his dogs instincts, finds his rival just in time for a snowstorm to hit them sideways, and a whole organisation faces the fact that they have lost two mushers and their dogs.

Harry concentrates on keeping the bike, his beloved 1974 Norton Commando, flying down Oregon's Route Something-Or-Another as the forgotten strip of asphalt slices through the Willamette Valley farmlands. He’s doing a pretty good job of it, too—of ignoring Louis, despite the increasing restlessness in his twitching fingers and squeezing thighs—until Louis bites down, that is, sinking his teeth into the gap between Harry’s helmet and the collar of his leather jacket.

For Week 1 of Wordplay: Nest
“Father Styles?” a voice behind him comes, making him jump slightly. He’s used to people interrupting him. After all, that’s why he leaves the large wooden doors propped open. The church was a sanctuary for everyone. Who was he to stop God’s children seeking out the truth?
He closes his book, suddenly aware of how much his knees ache from the flagstone floor as he gets back to his feet, turning around slowly. Standing in the centre of the aisle is Louis. Louis, who comes to confess all his sins to Harry, every day on his knees, little begs of forgiveness tumbling from his lips. Louis, whose ridges and bumps Harry feels under his fingertips almost as often as he feels the ridges and bumps of the Word.
“Hello, Louis,” he smiles, placing his Bible on the altar next to the Communion chalice. “Come to confess?”
He watches carefully as Louis’ eyes darken a little, his lips parting. “Yes, Father.”
It’s part of their charade now, a dance that he knows well. “Why don’t you go close the door then? I think you and I, and God, need some alone time, don’t you?”
