Summary
Perhaps a thread came loose somewhere, and someone tugged a bit too hard and tore the seam, leaving behind a hole that was growing progressively larger.
Perhaps that was the only way that he could have ever received anything even close to resembling a good ending. And the way the last handful of events in his life surpassed the highest of all expectations made it clear that something so very, utterly wrong must have happened to the force that dictates the hand of fate.Mellow wakes up in the middle of the night plagued by a feeling of uneasiness and dread. Was this really what he deserved?
