Chapter 1: Oh dear god

Notes:

This is 5/4/22 me saying that the early chapters are being re-formatted
This is 11/3/25 me saying that the later chapters in this fic will now delve into darker subject matter. I started writing this fic at a very young age, it was never intended to be a serious fic. As I have aged it has become very hard to write in that same way, but there is still a story to be told. Even if that story is no longer the happy go lucky and comical one it started as. I hope any remaining readers continue to enjoy this fic as it evolves.

Chapter Text

Anakin was lost, terribly dreadfully lost, it was not his fault that that bitch, sorry that witch, had cursed him to become a snail until he could prove himself a better Robot, Man? It was all very unclear. In order to do this he needed help, for this reason he sought out a time traveler, although nobody could be sure of her real name she requested to be called by the name Crescent.

"Fairest maiden" said he "I come to you on this horridly un-frabjous day, in the hopes that you might help me."

Crescent turned towards him slowly her eyes still lingering on a statue of Mr. Darcy she had been previously admiring.

"My dearest friend it is unfortunate but honestly I have no clue how to help you, but perhaps you can help me, I have recently acquired a most beautiful painting of Dorian Gray and in order to have the space to display it I must rid myself of this sleek and sexy statue."

It was at this time when Crescent realized a way to solve both of their problems simultaneously.

"Perhaps" she suggested "We could pay a visit to one of the greats Picasso or Van Gogh."

Anakin, Vader, had no suggestion that could possibly out class this.
As they made their preparations to leave another most wonderful idea occurred to Crescent.

"Snader, perhaps we should divide and conquer, I shall visit Picasso, and thou shalt visit Van Gogh"

Once again Snader, as Crescent now called him, was at a loss for words.
Crescent helped Snader into the time machine and sent him to Van Gogh, once he had disappeared she herself stepped into the time machine and felt the blissful embrace of the void between time engulf her as she prepared for her first meeting with Picasso

Chapter 2: You see I have no life left

Summary:

This is the most beautiful and artistic thing ever written, screw you Titanic

Chapter Text

Upon her landing in the time of Picasso, Crescent felt a disturbance in the force, it was as if he, Picasso, knew of her arrival. She dilly dallied no longer and headed straight for the workshop she knew he regarded as home.

As she entered the small building she found Picasso, but not the Picasso she had expected, for this Picasso was a most beautiful specimen, he had all the grace of a sexy anime boy. Picasso turned away from the blank canvas he had been so invested in.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of being stumbled upon by a lovely stranger, and who might this stranger be" asked Picasso.

Crescent's heart began to palpitate, never had such beauty as sexy anime boy Picasso graced her presence

"My friends tend to refer to me as Satan herself." was all she could reply with.

Sexy anime boy glared at her with the wrath of 6858 different sweltering donkeys, He said in hushed tones, "I hate you, and I want your ear."

Crescent was momentarily taken aback by his forwardness, she in her moment of nervousness what could only be said in a time like this, "Sexy Anime Boy, you must accept, that I'm a little out my mind. this is a waste if you can't walk me down the finish line. give me passion. don't make fun of fashion. give me more give me more. you can't be scared yo show me off and hold my hand. If you can't put in work I don't know what you think this is. if you cheat you will die."
Picasso was blissfully indifferent to this comment, he stood slowly, and beautifully.

"Come" he said extending his arm "truly I must become acquainted to the visionary that is you

Chapter 3: This chapter is halfway decent

Chapter Text

The time void was cold, and utterly discoordinating to Snader given his small size and newfound lack of limbs. Luckily this uncomfortable moment didn't last long as Snader was soon thrown violently out of the other side of the tunnel and onto a wooden floor. The wood was rough and left splinters in his gooey skin; looking up into the room around him he found quite the breathtaking scene. Warm afternoon light flooded into the room from an open window, illuminating the small and homely space. Discarded sketch papers covered the floor and in the center of the room, towering high above Snader’s miniscule form, was a man standing before a canvas, nearly glowing in the soft orange light.

“H-hello there” croaked Snader after taking a moment to find his bearings

No response.

“I said hello there!” he repeated

At this the man turned, revealing his paint-stained and unshaven face to Snader’s tiny eyes. He looked about the room, visibly confused by the disembodied voice.

“Are you the Mr. Van Gogh I have been sent for?” asked Snader in a wavering tone

Mr. Van Gogh (because he, as you have probably assumed by now, was indeed Mr. Van Gogh) responded, “y-yes” becoming increasingly puzzled.

“Well..uh..good.”

Awkward silence

“Are you an angel?” asked Van Gogh, (who had yet to see the slightly-above-average size snail on his floor)

“No”

Snader was very uncomfortable with all of this, little did he know that Crescent was also being asked the same question, though in a very different sense.

“Are you a demon?”

“No”

“Then what are you?”

...

“Uhm...a...snail”

“A snail? A talking snail?”

“Yes”

At this Van Gogh became overwhelmingly confused and began to search again for the source of the voice. After a moment he finally caught the snail in his line of vision and stumbled backwards, knocking over his canvas, which till now had been turned away from Snader’s eyes.

“DEMON! SPIRIIIIIIIT!!”

“I am not a spirit! I am but a snail of unusual size!”

“NO SUCH THING!!!” Van Gogh was flailing dramatically in absolute fear of the medium sized snail, limbs absolutely everywhere. It was at this moment that Snader’s eyes caught sight of the unfinished painting lying to his left, it had fallen directly into the rays of golden light pooling in from the window. There, glowing in the hazy light of the afternoon, was the painting of a beautiful woman dressed in an elegant yellow gown, sitting happily in a field of flowers. Snader’s tiny eyes shot open with the glow of recognition, only he could know that face so intimately to recognise it even in it’s crudely unfinished state.

Oh dear.

Chapter 4: More Picasso simping

Notes:

Lol you signed up for this when you clicked

Chapter Text

Picasso was a fair and radiant anime boy, who's looks could not be compared to many, but in his mind this devil Crescent had reached into his heart and pulled out his very soul, she was like an angel in fact perhaps she was.
"Are you an angel?" he inquired as they walked through a large field.
"Perhaps I am" Crescent said to herself inquisitively. Picasso thought that Crescent was most peculiar in the way she spoke, punctuating each word with a large dramatic movement of some sort. Even now as they walked she seemed to float off of the ground as though she did not belong to this world.
Suddenly Crescent stopped and turned to face him, "In my rapture I have almost forgotten why it is I came to you, my dearest friend Snader has been transformed by a witch, pray let us tary here no longer, for he needs my assistance."
At these words Picasso's heart began to sing a song of jealousy, he wanted the pretty lily to himself, and did not wish for her to leave his side. At this thought Sexy anime boy noticed the sorrow that fell over Crescent's face. Immediately he knew that in order to keep the lovely rose happy he must help this Snader she spoke of and deal with his competition later.

Chapter Text

Crescent stepped out of the time travel machine onto grass at another villa.
"This must be the home of Van Gogh"
Sexy anime boy did not like to hear Crescent say these things. She started to walk towards the house while muttering to herself. Picasso followed her cautiously; he did not like the narrow halls that Crescent led him through; she seemed to be working without being awake. Picasso was sure she had never been here before, but once again jealousy stung his heart. Crescent stopped momentarily and then picked up her speed sprinting through a door that led her to a basement.

"SNADER NO!" she yelled

Van Gogh was being held above the ground choking on so invisible force.

"I must do this Crescent, Padmé was with him" Snader said with mock calm.
Sexy anime boy watched as Snader continued to torture Van Gogh, and as Crescent continued to plead with him. Picasso's eyes began to turn red, red in a sexy anime way.

"HE MUST DIE" yelled Picasso charging at Van Gogh with a pallet knife.

So all these chapters are gonna be pretty short 🙃

Chapter 6: I was told to make this chapter gorier

Notes:

murder, darling, murder

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Picasso charged at Van Gogh with the pallet knife he had grabbed. Picasso began to stab Van Gogh repeatedly, cold, rough metal puncturing through his skin. Blood began to flow out of Van Gogh's arm dripping slowly down onto Picasso's hand. Crescent was lying on the floor crying.

Picasso didn't care though, he only wanted to make Van Gogh suffer. Next Picasso began to carve off Van Gogh's ear. Slowly severing the soft flesh from the side of his head, but this was not enough Picasso lusted for more blood.

He managed to locate a sword, and took it to Van Gogh's arm slowly taking off layer after layer of skin and revealing the muscle and bone. Alas Picasso began to become tired of this mindless violence, so he picked up the pallet knife, that was at this point dull, and slit Van Gogh's throat. Once again he picked up the sword and cut through most of the rest of Van Gogh's neck, leaving just enough to have his head still attached.

Snader then allowed him to fall to the ground, his barely alive corpse bouncing on the floor. Crescent was in hysterics.

Chapter Text

Crescent was lying on the floor crying; it felt as though she was dying. She didn't dare look upon Van Gogh's corpse. Picasso was standing over the body covered in the blood of his victim.

"I can stay here no longer!" she wailed and ran from the room.

Crescent ran back to the time machine and sent herself to the first time she saw…

49 B.C.

She came to the scene of a beautiful man on horseback valiantly pointing across a river, an army was watching him with adoring eyes. So was Crescent.

It was Caesar, and he was beautiful. In no way did sexy anime boy Picasso even come close to Caesar's beauty.

Crescent exited the time machine and began to stare at Caesar without the intervention of the glass. Caesar was everything that Crescent could want in a man. All the sudden Caesar looked at her, she began to feel like Y/N as she stared into Caesar's beautiful blue eyes.

Chapter 8: Trust me this whole thing is just one large dumpster fire

Notes:

I take two years TWO WHOLE YEARS of Latin and I still have to use freaking Google Translate

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Caesar dismounted from his horse and began to walk towards her. Once he was but a few feet away from her he dropped to one knee and the rest of his army followed suit.

"Venus, domina pulchritudinis, quid fecimus tibi nos tua praesentia gratia?" Caesar asked with utmost respect

"venio confugiens a malo magno" Crescent replied.

This puzzled her as she had never been able to speak in Latin before. Perhaps Caesar had cast some spell over her.

"Oh the woes of this mortal life I must bear. Why must I have to seek out knowledge instead of it being bestowed upon me. Oh how my heart beats at the sight of him, and yet I should not admit, for he could never love me. From whence I should go forth in my follys of life without concern. But what is this feeling in my chest for I might die if I were to disappoint him.

AGAHHHH, I have known this land for less than a minute and already I feel so tied to it. As though my very entity would dissipate if I was to so much as to even try and think of leaving this place."

Crescent stopped her soliloquizing and turned her attention back to Caesar, although she could barely look at him without her cheeks flushing.

"Vade, miles pulchre, pugna et vince pro me."

Caesar and his soldiers stood and bowed to her and then prepared for battle.

Notes:

Yeah so basically Caesar just thinks Crescent is Aphrodite.
Also...
Buckle up because I am about to butcher a historical event for the sake of fanfiction

Chapter 9: I butcher historical events... A saga

Notes:

I just butchered a historical event... I will not apologize

Chapter Text

Caesar had no doubts now that he prepared to charge across the stream. The Rubicon River, a small stream but with great purpose. Caesar began to speak he needed to hype his army

"Amici mei hodie surgimus. Nos bellum incipiemus. Cum me es?"

All responded in favor of the war they were about to start.

Caesar let the charge across the river.

On the other side soldiers were waiting for them. Caesar cut down centurions left and right, he watched as his loyal friends were also cut down.

The river began to turn red, filling with the blood of the dead. Oh how he wished that he did not need to lose friends in his quest for glory. But he knew it would all be worth it as he had the blessing of a goddess.

Finally the battle ended, it was a gruesome and grisly sight. Hundreds of soldiers covered in blood of both their enemies and themselves. Caesar too wore the glistening blood of his enemies on his armor, but he had won, or at least for today he had won.

Caesar called for his remaining soldiers, no, friends, and they retreated, where Crescent sat waiting for them.

"Pro vobis pugnavi." Caesar said to her

"Gratias tibi ago, malum in sinu servabis." she replied in her melodic voice

Caesar began to cry softly, for the friends he had lost that day. Crescent walked towards him and slowly wrapped her arms around him and laid her head on his chest.

"Doleo de amicis tuis" Crescent said while she hugged him.

In that moment everything was fine.

Chapter 10: More graphic violence kinda?

Notes:

I have no regrets

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Sexy anime boy Picasso paced around fuming in his anger. Crescent had escaped from his grasp, so he had defaced Van Gogh's corpse as a way to cope with his sorrow. Picasso had no regrets, or none that he would admit to.

"You, snail" Picasso said, his voice reverberating around the room, "Tell me where could the beautiful angel have disappeared to."

"My name is Snader" said the snail, "and I have no idea where she could have gone."

Picasso threw yet another knife at the wall, that impaled itself on Van Gogh, who Picasso had hung from the ceiling.

"How could she have escaped me like this, Snader?" Picasso screamed, his eyes becoming more red by the second.

"I am unsure." Snader squeaked out.

"DAMN YOU, SNADER, I WANT ANSWERS!" Picasso shrieked out, his voice climbed and octave with every word.

Picasso took a deep breath, in a sexy anime way, he knew that he must find Crescent and make her to be his wife. But how to find Crescent, this was the question.

"She is most radiant and elusive to me. I must find her because I know that she is meant to be mine. I can not stand the thought of her being with another man. And you, Snader, I am sure you will help me in this search for I know that you must need her help to unsnailify yourself. And yet should I fear that you may attempt to steal her from me. Oh these thoughts that worry me, they will not leave me be. Pray tell, Snader, have you ever felt anything of this sort?"

"Indeed I have." Snader replied "I do wish to help you in your mission, trust me I will not steal Crescent from you."

This answer pleased sexy anime boy, and he grabbed a paper.

"Let us begin the hunt."

Chapter Text

Crescent sat in the tent she had been given. Well she wasn't sitting, more so sprawled across the ground trying to process everything that hadn't happened that day, as well as everything that had happened.

She wished she could go back and save Van Gogh but at the same time had that anime demon Picasso not killed him she might still be blissfully trapped with him, or worse yet she might not have met Caesar.

Oh Caesar, none could compare to him, how he looked when he smiled, the stories he told, but she did not like the way he worshipped her. No the worshipping must stop, because Crescent could not stand to be anything more than ordinary. Well that wasn't true for she loved to be unique. In the back of her head though, she wanted to be normal, nothing special. But even then the thought of being just a boring, basic girl and it made her blood boil.

Crescent could not deal with her emotions, and then a cold dead thought hit her. What if he didn't love her, what if all this worship was fake. Made simply because he was a good person and didn't want to make her feel like an outcast. Truly it was probably one-sided, on Crescent's side, and yet everything he said led her to believe, to hope, that perhaps he did love her.

Crescent stood up, and then fell face first into the cot that resided in her tent. She proceeded to scream into the pillow she had been given.

Notes:

Just laughs, really awkwardly

Chapter 12: If Crescent wasn't already a self insert she is now

Notes:

Just a warning 20 chapters from now Caesar and Crescent are basically gonna be married, and Snader and Picasso are still gonna be deciphering notes

Chapter Text

"Dammit, Snader, I want answers not more questions!"

Snader had begun to tire of Picasso's company. Sure Picasso was a sexy anime boy, but that meant nothing to Snader.

"Perhaps, if we…" Snader began

"SILENCE" Picasso cut him off mid sentence.

Snader huffed and began to look over Crescent's notes again. Quite frankly they made no sense. In the majority of them Crescent had switched between hands, writing style, and languages in all of them. In fact Snader had even found a peculiar book filled with rhymes half of which revolved around some mysterious figure she called "Even Eleven", it puzzled Snader immensely. Clearly this Even Eleven, reminded Crescent of someone else named Luke Castellen, while simultaneously not reminding her of Luke Castellen at all.

Once again Snader remained confused especially as Even Eleven seemed to be a person, and yet in a musical composition of some sort Crescent implied that she was an even eleven, as though it was a thing. Specifically she said that she, like an even eleven, did not exist this did Snader no good though as the whole "song" seemed to be questions directed towards the hypothetical person Even Eleven.

Forgetting the confusing angst poetry music Snader still had problems. Picasso was growing impatient, and Snader as a S.O.U.S (snail of unusual size) was moving as quickly as he possibly could.

Chapter 13: Internal monologue 2

Notes:

I'm to tired to go Google Translate some lines for Caesar so enjoy Crescent's monologue for another 18 chapters

Chapter Text

Crescent thought of the blue in Caesar's eyes, she felt as though his eyes could stare into her soul and slowly unravel the many false personalities that she held.

"Aggghhhhhhhhh, WHY THE HELL AM I IN LOVE WITH HIM" she cried out no longer bothering to keep her internal monologue internal.

"Perhaps it's a spell, or perhaps I am so overly disappointed in how the relationship I had just begun to form has crashed and burned so spectacularly that I am merely crying out for the unconditional love I have never been given. Oh such are the woes of life, the turmoil, the fights, and the way that such things as personality must be guarded so that we, more specifically I, can believe that everybody seems to love me for who I am, and will most certainly always be.

Or should I go back to the faking that I have always valued so very much. Perhaps it is better to assume hate than love, that hatred that scars me so horridly but those scars will never be seen. Not unless I want to show those scars."

"I need to talk to Caesar"

Chapter 14: "He's a tall man and a good whore" that my friends is a legitimate Shakespeare line

Chapter Text

Snader was still confused, Picasso was still mad. Such went the following days and Crescent's notes grew more and more absurd. But Picasso and Snader learned to tolerate each other's presence.

"This might be it! " Snader squeaked out, levitating another notebook from Crescent's seemingly endless supply onto a table that Picasso stood at.

In these notes Crescent had spelled out some way of bringing those from the past to her workshop.

"By god Snader I think you've found it" Picasso replied, "But who should we bring to our time?"

"If I might suggest" Snader began, Picasso made no attempt to stop him so Snader continued, "Shakespeare, the greatest poet to ever live according to the history books, Crescent clearly despises him, but he may be able to translate some of her writings"

"An excellent idea, Snader" Picasso replied.

So the two of them made haste, scurrying around the room looking for the things Crescent listed as being needed: a phantom mask, a bottle of fruit punch soda (specifically flat fruit punch soda), vodka, and animal crackers.

Once they had acquired these items Snader and Picasso made an offering exactly to Crescent's specifications. Two bottles of vodka to one of fruit punch soda, and 13 animal crackers spaced equidistantly on the phantom mask which was to be used as a plate. The offering was finished and left.

All the sudden the wind began to stir, and a tall man who could be described as a good whore walked out from the portal.

"My friends you may call me Shakey Boi" said the man

Chapter Text

Crescent was done soliloquizing. She knew what was coming and no matter the language barrier she needed to warn Caesar. Snader and Picasso were coming.

As if on cue there was a knock at the flap of her tent.

"Come in." she yelled standing up and dusting off her clothes

"Crescent, I…. Your monologues…..,Crescent, I am concerned about you." said Caesar, who had picked up on English almost as though the author no longer wanted to go to the trouble of using Google Translate.

"I mean if you saw what I read you would be more concerned" Crescent said

"That is incredibly unhelpful, Crescent"

"Oh I know."

"Crescent, what the hell."

"Snader and Picasso are gonna attack at some point."

"Crescent, what the HELL"

"You act like I know the answer to that question."

"You have a boyfriend right."

"No, but I am most certainly in love with someone."

"Who"

"You"

"Me?"

"I just said that"

"Why?"

"You act like I have all the answers"

"Do you not"

"NO, Caesar, what gave you that idea"

"Was that sarcasm or righteous anger"

"Both, I think."

Chapter 17: *insert creative title name here*

Chapter Text

"George, my dearest, prepare the attack battalions"

Jolene knew when one of her friends was in trouble or in love. It was because of the mental bond that they shared.

"Can you wait, I'm about to win this game."

Jolene knew that she had to do the most dire of things to grab the attention of her beloved George Washington. She walked into his general sight line causing his game to stop.

"CRESCENT IS IN TROUBLE, DO YOU REALLY WANT TO LET THE PERSON WHO CREATED THE TIME MACHINE TO DIEEEEE!"

"Well why didn't you say that!" George said in outrage.

Jolene walked towards the ragtag army she co-lead "We must help my friend TO THE TIME OF CAESAR"

"To the time of Caesar" the army shouted and they began to march into the highly modified time machine Jolene had.

Chapter 18: I read My Immortal and it has scarred me for life

Notes:

I wrote out a plot, this GÄrbãgé has a plot I swear

Chapter Text

"Ahhh, yes and here we see Crescent speaking once again…"

Shakespeare blathered on infernally, it bored the heck out of Picasso, he, a sexy anime boy, needed something much more exciting to hold his interests. In his bored dismay he had picked up some books that Crescent herself had clearly printed. The author was someone named Tara Gilesbie and the book was named My Immortal. The main character was a beautifully "Goffic" girl named Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way. Picasso thought that this eNoby girl was the only girl who could possibly contest Crescent's beauty.

"We have a new objective," Picasso began "we must find my new true love."

Chapter 19: Thats right I bend the laws of the universe like I'm the matrix

Friends

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

"I do have friends that could help us."

"Crescent, I do not know what defines 'friend' to you. All of these people you have mentioned have tried to kill you." Caesar attempted to reason with her once again.

"Well ok, while, yes, most of them have tried to kill me Jolene hasn't." said Crescent in an exasperated manner. She was losing the argument and she didn't really want to accept it.

"That was a red herring, and you tried to kill Jolene," said Caesar, gaining confidence in the fact that he was winning.

"That was an accident. How was I to know that knives, champagne, and seven inch heels don't exactly mix well?"

"Dear GOD, CRESCENT, what the HELL were you THINKING."

"In my defense, I was left alone with a book about murder" Crescent stated matter of factly

"Who in their right mind left you alone with a book about murder?" Caesar said, shaking his head in a disappointed manner.

"Jolene"

"Then I highly doubt that she is the right person to take into battle."

Crescent burst out laughing, "My dearest, Caesar, you have not seen the woman when she is handed a monster energy and a sharpened typewriter."

"My, Lady!" yelled a guard as he ran into a pole attempting to enter the strategy tent, "there are foreign armies marching out of a large neon box!"

Chapter 20: Yes this is my way of saying that I'm writing a spin off

Chapter Text

Marvelous, that's what all of Crescent's books collection was. Shakey boi could have spent the rest of his life just looking at it. Each section was categorized by the type of fanfic it would fall under. It was like the Library of Congress but with fanfic. Right now Shakey boi was on a mission though. He had been tasked with finding a very peculiar book in which Crescent had written about her creation of the time machine. He had found the location of the book spelled out on the ceiling. He knew there was no audience watching, but if there was he would have to knock into their heads that he had actually found the location spelled out on the ceiling, and that this was no comedy, he was not joking.

According to the ceiling the book was in her section of Star Wars novels, which were organized by canonical occurrence. No to find where in canon these events would fall. By his powers of knowledge he knew that it would have to be somewhere around the age of the so-called clone wars.

Oh! and what was this? A book entitled the journal of interdimensional space and time travel. He opened the book and began to read.

-Dearest diary, on this day I have finished my creation of an interdimensional space travel machine, and all it took was a large box and the tears of a person who has had their heart broken by a fanfic. I sure as hell have plenty of those. I know who I need to visit so that is why I'm writing this, ya know in case I don't come back. So Jolene if you're seeing this I went to find Hondo. If it works we're going to the unknown next.-

Perfect, thought Shakespeare slamming the book shut, now all I have to do is make somebody cry.

Chapter 21: Don't worry I'll explain all of this later (underground ghost dance party)

Chapter Text

A trip to the underworld was not the sidetracked thought that Picasso needed or wanted, but Shakey Boi persistently insisted. Picasso could see no other way to acquire the fanfic tears so he grudgingly agreed.

Shakey Boi was elated. Never had such good fortune befallen him and that good fortune included a direct passage to the underworld that Crescent had conjured into her home. When he had opened the door there seemed to be a staircase but the minute he put his foot on it he fell through.

Shakespeare was encased by a peculiar green code as he fell. The code appeared to be falling with him. As his fall speed slowed the code thinned and then completely disappeared as his feet touched the ground. He was in what had clearly once been a dark cavern but was now covered in colorful leds and other neon lights. Music was blasting at full volume.

A ghostly woman whose beauty could not be beaten appeared in front of him.

"You are not a ghost, why are you here"

"My name is Shakey Boi, and I am here, on a noble quest, to collect the tears of someone who has cried over fanfic"

"Well you have certainly come on the right day, but I need to know something before I can retrieve the tears from Hades lair."

"anything for you madame" Shakey Boi said already beginning to gloat in his success

"Could you tell me if Anakin Skywalker still lives?"

"Well yes he's doing well, very healthy and happy." Shakey said, in truth he had no idea who Anakin was

"oh, I see, well if you come across him anytime soon tell him that I cannot wait to see him again"

The spirit disappeared and then reappeared with the tears, handing them to Shakey without another word. Smug with his success, Shakey turned and went back to the staircase, expecting to be consumed by the green code again, but he was not. Thus he had to tromp back up all the stairs to reach Crescent's lair.

….

Padmé sighed, "Release ship number 66, and tell them to inform Crescent of this Shakey Boi's meddling"

Chapter 22: It's a short chapter but a good one... I think

Chapter Text

There was indeed a large neon box with armies marching out of it approximately 50 yards from where Caesar and Crescent were standing. At the head of the army was a woman sitting on a horse that was charging at them at an unnaturally fast speed.

"Crescent, who is that" Caesar asked in a very concerned tone

"I am unsure" said Crescent entirely unconcerned

"Crescent, WHAT IS THAT" Caesar basically yelled, pointing at the neon box.

Unfortunately Crescent did not get a chance to answer, the woman on the horse had jumped off of the horse and was now charging at him screaming words that sounded something like "GET AWAY FROM MY FRIEND YOU SEWAGE RAT! "

"JOLENE" Crescent yelled delightedly, and began to skip towards her.

This caused Jolene to stop running, "Crescent" she cried out. And then continued to stalk towards Caesar. She pointed her sword at Caesar, "If you break her heart I will skewer you on my sword, roast your corpse over a fire, and feed you to my pet cats."

She then hugged Crescent.

Chapter 23: There look, I updated, are you happy

Chapter Text

"And this is why, we All know that the superior method of film watching is pirating."

It had been a week, Jolene was pretty sure that Crescent was insane. Also Crescent had broken up with Caesar.

"She's crazy, George." Jolene said to George after Crescent's rambling ended.

"I thought that being crazy was her character description." George replied in an exasperated manner

"Yes, but a good crazy not a Dorian Gray murder my friend crazy." Jolene replied throwing herself onto a couch as though she was a character written by Oscar Wilde.

"Oh my gosh, Jolene, light of my life, is she going to murder Caesar!"

Chapter 24: Ok ok, I promise the murder was necessary

Chapter Text

Jolene frantically ran out of the tent,
"CRESCENT, NO! " she screamed

"Crescent, YES!" Crescent yelled back raising a sword to strike down Caesar.

Jolene knew that only one thing could stop Crescent. She began to conjure a spell, the spell. She raised her hands and yelled the sacred incantation.

"HOE, DON'T DO IT!"

Crescent stopped, and looked over to where Jolene was standing.

"You dare invoke the ancient right of… hoe don't do it. Knowing that if I did it without good reason I would be forever dead to you."

"Yes." Jolene affirmed solemnly

"Well," began Crescent, "I wish to relieve this imbecile of his head seeing as how he never loved me. This whole time he has been with… Cleopatra."

Jolene gasped, "Hoe, it is entirely reasonable to do it."

Crescent raised her sword again, "Say your last words, bitch."

Caesar did not have a chance to say his last words as Crescent sliced through his neck.

"Cleopatra is in love with Mark Antony anyways." Crescent said then smiled.

Which, in Jolene's opinion, was horrifying because Crescent was covered in Caesar's blood.

"Plus the majority of his army already swore allegiance to me, and the ones who don't Wil be publicly executed."

Crescent then calmly walked away, leaving Jolene to stare at Caesar's headless corpse.

"Uhm, Crescent, what are we gonna do with this body?"

Chapter 25: Sthap flammin da story preps

Chapter Text

"Shakey Boi!" Picasso exclaimed the minute Shakey returned from the underworld,"Have you met my fiancé?"

"Your what now?" Shakey Boi replied confidentiality. He had read this phrase in one of Crescent's journals and was fairly confident he was using the expression correctly. "Also what is this that you are wearing."

"hes wering a good chralote tshirt and loose fiting blak pants, wif sum blak eyeliner" said a mysterious girl who emerged from the shadows as she spoke.

The girl had ebony hair so black it could have been her namesake, with red tips and purple streaks. Icy blue eyes like limpid tears. In Shakey Boi's esteemed opinion she looked a bit like Amy Lee. She was wearing a Gothic black dress with red fishnet stockings and black boots. The dress had red corset lacing. As her eyes registered Shakey's existence her middle fingers went up.

"fukin prep" she snarled at him.

"ENoby, my love, this is my dear friend Shakey Boi I'm sure he means you no distress by his disgustingly preppy appearance." Sexy anime boy Picasso said swooping in to save to Shakey from the girls wrath. "Perhaps I shall fill him in on what happened while he was gone."

The girl, sent another glare in Shakey's direction an then slunk back into the shadows.

"That would be my fiancé Ebony Dark'ness Dementia Raven Way. Or at least I think that's her name it seems to constantly change." Picasso began

Shakey made no comment.

"I read about her in a fanfiction that Crescent had and while reading I cried providing me and Snader, or no sorry Llamakin, the tears we needed to get the time machine working so that we could get Ebony."

"Llamakin?" Shakey questioned.

"Ahhh yes about that…" Picasso began.

"We saw Paris in flames, me and Padmé. She was my angel." Wailed the voice of an angstily distraught looking llama.

"By helping me retrieve a wife, Snader evolved into Llamakin. It has to do something with good deeds and that curse I'm sure." Picasso finished as Llamakin began to sob.

Shakey continued to be confused.

"We need to get you some new clothing, that way my darling Tara doesn't murder you the same way she professes to wanting to murder Hillary Duff. Pray tell have you ever heard of MCR."

Chapter 26: Low key barbie films slap bro

Chapter Text

Turns out Crescent did not have a plan for what to do with the body. Meaning that Jolene was the one who had to deal with it.

Meanwhile in the underworld Padmé had a new visitor.

"My my, well I see how you made it to Crescent's bad side. She doesn't find broken vows humorous, or manipulation for that matter. Unless of course she is the manipulator." Padmé said.

Caesar, an absolute wreck, was a particularly interesting specimen. She had never once seen Crescent so mad enough to behead someone. Usually all the people Crescent killed were stabbed in the back, or poisoned. They all died in a way Crescent deemed "classy." Padmé was always either humored by the people Crescent killed or overly stressed when she went on murder sprees. There was no in between.

Padmé looked over at a video camera that followed around her own children. Leia and Luke were off saving the world right now. Then she looked at a rare photo of her and Anakin's wedding. Gone to soon the days were when she got too enjoy the company of her friends.

Now she was constantly swarmed by paperwork, recording all the lonesome souls that trudged into the underworld. Sometimes she dared to hope that her own dear Ani might die and be with her.

It was a stupid hope of course. She had seen what he had become. She had heard the terrible stories Obi-Wan had brought with him. All the terrible things that her Ani had done. Some days she wondered what could have happened.

Today was not an ideal day for reminiscing. Ship number 66 had been delayed by something in their own universe that prevented them from delivering the message to Crescent. Therefore Crescent had no idea what was happening. To make matters worse there was a potential that one of the underworld's most dangerous prisoners had escaped. Yes, indeed, even now she could see the havoc wreaked by the escape.

"Fuck," she slammed her head into the table before making a call, "we need a full lockdown Bibble has escaped."

Chapter 27: What if I murdered another character

Chapter Text

"You know, Jolene, have you ever considered homicide?" questioned Crescent (who was drinking black coffee from a champagne flute).

"I in fact had not." Jolene replied.

"Ahhh, how sad for you. I'll tell you Caesar's death has been one of my best murders yet. Just absolutely classy am I right." Crescent told Jolene without batting an eye.

Jolene just blinked. Crescent was absolutely losing it. Disturbingly she was beginning to act a bit like Dorian Gray in Jolene's humble opinion. The last time she had seen Crescent act like this was whenever she had made a deal with Bill Cipher. An excellent decision on Crescent's part. Absolutely devastating for upwards of 5 different universes.

"You know, Crescent, I really honestly thought that you would stay with this one." Jolene imparted.

"What, the same way you stayed with…."

"We need not mention the Broski of holiness." Jolene said absolutely taken aback.

"He was garbage" Crescent continued, "hell is he still alive, or is he on my kill list."

"I'm sorry, your WHAT?" Jolene asked

"No, I don't think I ever got around to him, I'll have to remedy that failure on my part." Crescent said in a dreamy, absolutely losing it manner.

Crescent got up from the couch she had been lying on.

"Time to make some sort of speech I guess."

She yawned, and then walked out of the tent.

Chapter 28: Let's just listen to Shakey inner thoughts shall we

Chapter Text

It seemed as though Shakey only had a choice between loose black pants, tight pants, and three different band tees. Crescent's workshop was filled by the loudest music possible at any given time. Shakey did not think that this Gerard man had any voice setting that wasn't screaming. Llamakin did not talk nearly as much as Snader had. No, Llamakin was moody and mostly stayed in the darkness.

Shakey never knew when ebony would show up. She was for sure a piece of work. Always drinking blood and putting up her middle fingers up. She had the most interesting sense of fashion Shakey had ever seen. Today she was sobbing almost constantly while wearing a low cut black tank top, and a short black leather skirt that had a red cross on the back. She had accessorized with black thigh high socks and platform shoes, as well as a black choker with ribbons on the front.

Shakey wasn't even sure about the quest to find Crescent anymore. His boss would be very disappointed in him. Of course Shakey was nervous about this. It had taken him years to track down Brittany after their initial accidental encounter, and even longer to make it into the underground crime empire she worked for. In some ways he was glad Brittany could not she him at this moment. All the black "Goffic" clothing and eyeliner would not impress her one bit.

Of course Shakey knew where Crescent was. How to track Crescent was one of the first things you learned in the crime empire. No, Shakey's problem was how to tell Picasso without exposing himself as a double agent.

At this point he was fairly sure that he could connect a drawing of Caesar he had found to some data he had pulled from one of the time machines. He just had to manage to converse with Picasso which was easier said than done.

Chapter 29: Guess who lost a year long argument

Chapter Text

"oh my Satan sexy anime boi yer red eyes ar so sexah" Ebony said in a sexy voice.

Picasso was about to respond when someone cleared their throat.

"Ah Shakey, have you come to help with the wedding planning?" Picasso asked.

Ebony's middle fingers went up the same way they usually did whenever Shakey was around.

"No, actually I am here to tell you that I believe I have located our missing person." Shakey said, being careful not to anger Ebony.

"Oh well excellent!" exclaimed Picasso, "Tara, darling, do you remember that horrid preppy girl I told you about."

"um yes she sonded like such a fukn preppy bich, sorta like hilary duff but a poser." Evory replied in a depressed voice.

"Of course with the wedding we'll have to wait a little while longer to actually go after her." Picasso said thoughtfully, "speaking of the wedding I heard that Bibble escaped the underworld. Perhaps he could officiate for us."

"i WIsh profeser sinister could be here for da weding, but she got adickted to voldexmortserum." sad (geddit cuz shes daperezzed) TaEvroly sexily sobbing, "she waz so kawaii!!111

"It will be ok, Ta Ta, we'll invite Bill Cipher instead." Picasso said trying to comfort her.

"yer such a fuking poser." Ebboby got up from the chair she had been sitting on and ran towards Crescent's oversized kitchen where she grabbed a steak and pointed it at her heart.

"Noooooooooo!" yelled Picasso sexily.

Chapter 30: I finally made it back to the plot

Chapter Text

"My dear friends!" Crescent began.

She was standing on a large platform that Jolene had built to house Caesar's corpse.

"It has come to my attention that in approximately…"

She looked down at her right wrist where a watch should have been.

"One hour to five years my dear friend Emoa Duodecem will arrive, hopefully with part of my esteemed crime empire."

She bowed and hopped off of the platform, leaving behind a very confused army. Emoa would very much enjoy this specific army Crescent had stolen, she had always loved ancient Rome.

Crescent began to hum to herself as she skipped towards her time machine.

"Maybe I should have stolen a tardis" she said to no one in particular

"Now you're talking! Of all my apprentices I knew you showed the most brilliance."

"Hondo!" Crescent said excitedly, "How did you find me this time?"

"I was tipped off by someone within your own crime empire." Hondo told her.

"Within my own crime empire?" Crescent said, tears forming in her eyes, "I taught them so well."

"Indeed you did my good friend, which is why they all swore allegiance too me." stated Hondo.

Crescent's smile disappeared, "So, you want to make a deal."

"Precisely!" replied Hondo.

Chapter 31: the saga continues with me posting a half finished chapter

Chapter Text

Llamakin had two true loves, his angel, Padmé, and silence neither of which were present at this moment. There was a loud commotion in the kitchen.

"Perhaps they will all die and then I can live in silence again." He thought bitterly.

Llamakin knew that him and Padmé would be reunited when both their cars collided. These people he had been forced to socialize with were terrible. They were like animals so he knew that he must slaughter them like animals. Perhaps not Enoby though. She understood him she knew of the terrible pains of this mortal life unlike Shakey and Picasso.

The commotion was not ending and so Llamakin figured that he ought to deal with whoever was causing it. As he descended the stairs he saw a gruesome scene. Sexy Anime Boy Picasso was sobbing as Shakey Boi attempted to take a steak away from Eboony.

"yefr all preps!" TaEvory was yelling flirtily as she attempted to get the steak back from Shakey.

"Enovy, no, I love you." Picasso choked out between almost comedical sobs.

Shakey looked merely confused by what was happening.

Chapter 32: Happy Early birthday Joleneth

Chapter Text

Crescent threw open a door.

"FUcK The PLoT! It's Jolene's birthday."

Her army that had recently betrayed her by swearing fealty to Hondo let out a roaring cheer.

"Let us allow the merriment to ensue!" Crescent yelled back at them.

The ensuing merriment involved much alcohol, dramatic poetry reading, and table dances.

Chapter 33: In Which She Actually Writes

Chapter Text

3 months later
Emoa Duodecem had never shown up, Hondo had left with his newly acquired army, and Jolene and George had been called away by urgent business in the Unknown. Crescent was left with nothing but a deserted camp. Crescent wished nothing more than to return to her library and read what to do. Unfortunately there was a good chance that that was where Picasso and whatever attack force he had accumulated were hidden.

"I should go to the Underworld shouldn't I ?" she asked the platform that housed Caesar's corpse. "Yes, I definitely should."

With a new resolve Crescent trudged towards her time machine. She would need to find another entrance to it as her library was clearly not an option.

Sexy Anime Boy Picasso was delighted. After managing to calm down EnObby,a feat not easily achieved, the wedding planning had gone wonderfully. He was generally unconcerned about the Crescent issue. Shakey had been a valuable inside source of information when it came to Hondo's army. There was nothing that could possibly go wrong.

Chapter 34: Crescent is depressed now

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The trip to the underworld was a treacherous one. It seemed like fun and rainbows usually, but not now not without her library. Crescent had nothing left, no army, little to no way to contact her remaining few friends, no finely aged wine, no money, no extravagant costumes. She’d been here before she’d never wanted to be here again. She was constantly reminded of her worst loss when she traveled this way. The Underworld had a way of reminding her of the things she could never have back. Many would expect the descent to become warmer as she made her way further into the ground but it was not.

The ground leveled under her feet. Had she been going down stairs? Crescent couldn’t remember. She began her trek through the large caverns. What many would have recognized as rocks Crescent recognized as ruins. Cities burned to ash she could feel the souls that were trapped; the pure energy that radiated from them was an overwhelming feeling. She didn’t dare reach out, but it made her feel so weak to just pass by them. Crescent wanted to feel that power again, limitless overflowing power; but these souls deserved a proper death, they did not want to leave this place she knew that much.

After what felt like ages the ruins ended and she came to a halt at a river that was familiar, the river Styx. She could take energy from this river, no remorse was needed, anything or anyone that was in this river was damned beyond salvation already and Crescent didn’t care anymore. She fell to her knees at the river's edge slowly taking a deep breath before slowly dipping her fingers into the river. It was instant as it had always been. Crescent could feel life draining from everything in the water and making its way into her skin and veins. She stumbled back away from the waters edge, “Just like old times”, she reminded herself. Black tendrils of smoke and dust began to emanate from the palms of her hands. But what to make… a gift of course. For her generous host. Crescent created a small bouquet of Padme’s favorite flowers.

…….

The wedding was in a constant state of postponed. Llamakin thought this humorous, even his own forbidden wedding had been much easier to plan and execute than this. As the days and weeks went by he had begun to question if Picasso actually truly loved Ebony as much as he swore he did. In Llamakin’s eyes Sexy Anime Boy Picasso only cared for war. He had begun to march out armies across every possible place he could conquer, reaching from things nearby like Camp Half-blood, to places as far as Narnia and the Unknown.

Llamakin feared what a great help Crescent’s technology had been to Picasso. Nothing quite rivaled it. It made Llamakin wonder why Crescent would choose to seclude herself from most everyone. Her library was by no means easy to access.

Screams issued from somewhere in the library. Llamakin sighed, usually screams meant Picasso had lost some great battle and was now going to bitch about it to anyone unlucky enough to come within his general vicinity.

Chapter 35: It All Changes Now

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

“OH WHAt a woRLd WHAt a WOrLd” Picasso cried while dramatically throwing himself onto one of the many couches in Crescent’s library. His fiance grew more and more irritating by the day. If only Crescent would have conceded to take his hand in marriage then they could have ruled side by side, conquering all that which they saw. He had seldom had a true conversation with Shakey Boi, or Llamakin in many months. Not that this was terribly upsetting to him, no, the only reason Picasso truly cared about this was because they had Crescent’s time machine. It was for good reason of course, they were leading a campaign under the ocean in hopes of seizing the Nautilus.

Picasso knew that Crescent must be planning something of great brilliance. She had not shown her face in many months, surely it meant she was planning what would be a truly devastating blow to his army.

“BaBE!” Ebony screeched from somewhere else in the library.

Sexy anime boi sighed. He knew this is where his rest would come to an end, “What is it my most glorious gothic mistress.”

Evory had materialized in front of him.

“Why have u been actin lik such a fukin prep” TaEvroly snaped.

Sexy anime boy Picasso gasped, “How could you accuse me of something so heinous my darling!”

“Yer only ever doing war stuff now!” Enoby sobbed flirtily.

“It’s all for us though, my darling.” Picasso reassured her

“Vampire potter or Draco never wouldve done this 2 meeee. You haven’t even taken me 2 one mcr concert.” Ebony pouted, “U could at least let me lead one of yer armies, since im so goffic and sexy.”

Finally a good idea, Picasso thought to himself.

“Well of course you can have an army, my sweet, in fact why don’t I send you to recruit your friends B’loody Mary and Willow. Surely they would be of great help to our cause.”

Ebony stopped and thought for a moment.
“Ok, then they can help me plan for da wedding.” Ebony decided.

“Well wonderful. You should begin to prepare at once.” Picasso stood and began to walk towards a table, “ I will send a message to Llamakin and Shakey informing them to return as soon as possible.”

…………….

Dear Llamakin and Shakey Boi,
Tis I, your glorious leader, Sexy anime boy Picasso. I demand you return with the time machine at once. My most beautiful and gothic fiance has promised to bring us more warriors. I am sure that we need them.

xoxo,
Sexy anime boy Picasso

Notes:

I am making another notice of it here. This is the last chapter that I had pre written last year, after this the story will take a much darker and more serious turn. It will frequently touch on topic of self harm, suicidal thoughts, and general depression. Regardless I hope you continue to enjoy this fic and the story therein.
All my love,
Handmaiden to the Queen

Chapter 36: The Gales of November

Chapter Text

The ocean was cruel and unforgiving. It rose, it fell, it stole, it killed, and without fail it never went away. In his time away from the library Llamakin had begun to regain his sense of self. Ebony’s presence had taken an undeniable toll on him and Shakey Boi, Picasso too. Though Llamakin thought he would not admit it.

Him and Shakey had been sent on what could only be described as a suicide mission. The Nautilus was not meant to be found, or captured. In fact the submarine took the ideologies of the sea in its stride. Despite their noble vessel, the Edmund Fitzgerald, sailing valiantly, the crew was losing hope. It was for that reason why Sexy anime boy Picasso’s return request was so well received. The happiness of his crew meant quite a lot to him, it was the only reason why he would dare to think about going back. That Ebony woman was an absolute nightmare, she truly seemed to bring the worst out of every person who interacted with her.

Llamakin trotted out of the captain’s quarters. It was an unusually stormless night, good for time travel Llamakin had learned. Shakey walked up to him, “Have you told the crew yet?”

“No” replied Llamakin, “ I must admit my mind has been elsewhere.”

“Nothing to worry about then, I already told them to prepare for a move. They should not be caught too off guard.” Shakey told him.

“Wonderful. I am glad we were entrusted with this crew, I fear we would have been sleeping in the depths by now if not for them.” Llamakin gazed out over the ocean sea.

“What is it that your mind dwells on, Llamakin? Enony will not be there when we arrive so that should not be of any fear to you.” Shakey asked

“Oh nothing too terribly important, just some old memories coming back to me that's all.” Llamakin said.

“About the witch ?” Shakey asked.
“No, on the contrary it is an angel I am thinking of.” Llamakin said wistfully, “Might I ask Shakey, were you ever married?”

“Many years ago, yes. To a beautiful actress, her name was Anne Hathaway.”Shakey replied.

“You must have loved her very much.” Llamakin sighed

“Indeed I did.”

The captain who had been leading their troops in most of their assaults on the Nautilus, Killian Jones, made his presence known.

“Sirs, I hope not to interrupt something too important; but our men are prepped and ready for our next move.” he informed Llamakin and Shakey.

“Oh splendid, well make a heading for Crescent’s library. We are to report to His Excellency Sexy anime boy Picasso at once.” Shakey informed him.

“Right away, Sir.” Killian responded, and then walked away.

“I’ll leave you to get ready.” Shakey told Llamakin before walking away as well.

Llamakin nodded his head. He was still somewhat lost in his reverie, after all today of all days was his anniversary. Llamakin felt the ship pick up a new course, sailing towards what was undoubtedly a portal. He had grown used to the time travel, it felt very similar to a jump through hyperspace; something he was deeply accustomed to.

Chapter 37: Alone

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

The Underworld was grayer and duller than normal. Not nearly as busy as she was accustomed to either. Usually the streets were bustling with ghosts and shades and all other manner of ghastly specters. All Crescent saw now were boarded windows and empty buildings.

“Eerie.” she said, though there was no one to reply.

Through the gloom she could see the distant spires of the palace. It was foreboding as ever, Padme had always had an eye for style. Crescent prepared herself for the trudge towards the palace, it seemed to get longer and longer every time.

Crescent wished she had some form of company as she made her ascent up the mountain. Usually even the passing shades were welcome company; they always had stories to tell, and on occasion even wisdom to impart. Why sometimes they even recognized her, and knew of the time she had spent in their lands. How fleeting such lives were, for each of their one Crescent seemed to have lived a thousand.

”Halt there!” Said a guard, “What business do you have at the palace?”

”I have come to pay my respects to Her Majesty the Queen.” Replied Crescent.

”Her Majesty is not currently taking visitors, surely you should know this.” The guard said.

”I do not live I’m these parts and as such I was unaware.” Apologized Crescent, “Could you not send word and see if she would make an exception?”

”I fear it is not so simple as that, even now you are being monitored by thousands of eyes. Tell me, are you in league with the traitor?”

“I know of no traitor and even if I did, I don’t really think I would tell you.” said Crescent.

“Well then I suppose I have no choice but to place you under arrest.” replied the guard.

“Will that get me an audience with the Queen?’ asked Crescent.

She didn’t get a reply.

…………………………………………………………………

The dungeon was dark, cold, and in general disrepair. “This is no way to treat prisoners.” Crescent thought to herself. She couldn’t remember the last time the Underworld’s security was this tight. No insult to Padme but she’d always been somewhat lenient with Underworld visitors, and this seemed almost out of character.

In the early days of Padme’s reign Crescent had picked up many a job tracking down stolen shades, and… dealing with the people who stole them. Padme had never wanted to know the details of how Crescent dealt with the thieves, Crescent didn’t blame her. This damp dark prison was not reminiscent of the queen she knew, Padme liked meadow flowers and lavish furnishings, overly dramatic costumes and royal protocol. She was too kind, this prison was not kind in the slightest. The guards were straight to the point and almost unfeeling. This is how Crescent would have run the Underworld, and that meant something was clearly wrong. Although she couldn’t be sure if that something was wrong with Padme or her.

“Alone at the edge of a Universe humming a tune
For merely dreaming we were snow, mm, hm
A siren sounds
Like the goddess who promises endless apologies of paradise
And only she can make it right
So things are different tonight
We’ll go together in flight
It’s now and never, a reverie endeavor
Awaits somnambulant directives to take the helm
Believe me, darling the stars were made for falling
Like melting obelisks as tall as another realm
Un ensemble d'enfants
La galaxie s'étend
Jardin de l'imagination
Combler la lacune
Voler face à la lune
Vois comme nous évoluons
It feels like flying
But maybe we're dying
A cosmic confluence of pyramids hologrammed
She knows you heard her
Staging music murder
In line before the show began
To be where I am
Children born of one emotion
Our devotion's deepest ocean
No division reasoned we'll be free
To know
We are beyond a bow
And lo, the hues arrange to show
It's perfectly clear
You look quite divine tonight
Here among these vibrant lights
Pure delights surround us as we sail
Signed, yours truly, the whale
Joy mirage's kingdom come
No one left at stake
Now that existence is on the wake
Let's see what we can make
The part is wholly ending
A line in any final song
So long, so far
We will be atoning
At last eternal through the past
Above a blinding star
Bye, hi
Sigh, Hawaii
We never meant to part
Sublime, thy art
One light
Higher than the sun
Invisible to some
Until it's time”

Notes:

I had a fun time returning to my roots and doing a little songfic element with this one.
