The class of 2A was full of inimitable and interesting characters.
Their unprecedented first year at UA had been horrendous. Far worse than any of them could have foreseen in their nightmares. And yet, it was through these experiences that 20 remarkable students became irreversibly linked together. Their bond was one that people would marvel over for decades to come, well into and past their careers as Professional Heroes. Textbooks would immortalize their names.
Before that though, they were simply teenagers. Their second year had begun and they were facing normal teenage dalliances, challenges and woes (or the equivalent to normal specifically for top heroes in training). They faced these challenges together, arm in arm. Learning. Growing.
Truly, the nexus of 2A was almost overwhelming sometimes. Within its web were smaller networks – individuals with personal ties to each other and beyond, each special in its own right.
And of these bonds, nothing astounded people (the public, UA and 2A itself included) more than that of the Wonder Duo. Best friends turned enemies turned rivals turned something more, the connection shared between these two was the most unbreakable of all.
Of course, it is Bakugou Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku of whom we speak.
