Sonny stared at the door to Alban's room for the 5th time that hour, wondering if he should be knocking in to disturb his ototou.
Earlier that day the brunette declared he was going to study more radicals and went right back to his room after breakfast. He did come out a little bit for lunch but went right back to his room after. It has been 4 hours since they had lunch and Alban didn't seem like he was going out of his room any time yet.
"Why don't you go in, Sonny. Neko-chan should be finished studying by now, yeah?" Yugo pointed out when he noticed the way Sonny was staring at the brunette's door. But the blond simply shook his head.
"Nope, he's still studying" of course he didn't mention that the reason why he knew was that he had his ears to the door a few minutes earlier.
"Really? Wow, Neko-chan is working so hard" Yugo approved of their kyoudai.
"Yeah" The older brother in him nodded proudly. "His Japanese is improving so much so quickly" Although he did prefer if Alban took a break for a bit...
"Well, I think if you are the one telling him to rest he will"
"You think so? Should I tell him to take a break?" He wondered. He didn't necessarily have to make Alban retire from studying for the day, he would actually be satisfied if he could make the brunette rest even just for a little while. Alban had the tendency to be so occupied with what he was doing that he literally forgets everything around him, eating, other stuff, even the time.
"It's a good idea, maybe bring him some snacks too" Fulgur agreed, overhearing the conversation he was coming to get Yugo since they were going shopping with Uki. "He was in there since lunch"
"Ohh. I can do that, yeah" Sonny agreed. "Thanks Fuuchan, Yugo"
"Anyway, we're off. Make sure to get Albanyan to take a break, Sonny" Sonny saw them off and went to the kitchen to whip up something for Alban. While he wasn't that much of a cook, he certainly knows the exact food and drink that would make the younger man would love. He made sure to check the temperature too. Alban has a cat's tongue after all.
So cute... He thought to himself while preparing. I really should make him take a break...and pay attention to me...
Meanwhile, inside his room, Alban Knox was really busy studying. He had been a part of some surprise collaborations where he had to interact with the JP senpais lately... So he really wanted to work more on his Japanese so he can talk to them properly next time...and not act like some weirdge person.
Of course, he did think of asking Sonny to teach him, but he knew staying close to the blond would just distract him and they'll never get around to any actual studying. He wondered where Sonny was though. He realized he mentioned he had the day off today. Maybe he should have played with Sonny today...
I do miss him....he thought.
A knock on the surprised him though. Then Sonny's kind and gentle voice came from the other side. "Alban"
It took the brunette no time at all to get up from his seat and dash towards the door to greet Sonny. "Onii~ you're here," he said happily. Realizing only now how long he had been coped inside his room.
Sonny had to double take at how Alban looked at that moment. The younger had his bangs tied in a high ponytail on the top of his head and his pen was tucked behind his ear, so he can easily pull it in case he needed to write something. "K-Kawaii..." He whispered.
"E-Ehh?" Alban still caught that even Sonny only muttered it quietly. He could feel his face heat up and he could only hope Sonny wasn't in his teasing mode.
Luckily he wasn't and Sonny smiled fondly after that. He raised a hand to ruffle his hair affectionately " Time for a break, Alban" he places a mug of warm hot chocolate into the brunette's hand. "You've been going at it for more than 4 hours"
"Wait, what, really?" Alban looked surprised, but he stared at the clock inside his room and realized Sonny was right "Oh shit, I didn't notice the time. Thanks, Onii" he took the mug and smiled happily. Sonny always knew the perfect temperature he could take his hot drinks.
"That's okay, you were doing something you loved" Sonny assured him "But you need some rest too or else your brain would be too exhausted to continue" "Yeah, I think I'm done for the day as well" Alban nodded, stretching a little to stretch some cramped muscles "Nnnn....ngh"
Sonny had to force himself not to react to that. He had to look away from the bit of skin showing when Alban moved his lean body "That's good. Come on, I made some food too"
Alban pouted a little at the lack of reaction, but then again, this is Sonny he was talking to. And he did score a high rice purity test. Oh well, he had to work harder next time. "Okay, Onii!" He grinned. I'll get you next time...
Sonny smiled back "Okay, let's go" Next time, next time...
