Chapter Text
"I’m surprised all of you got your luggage out on time," Mori remarked as he emerged from the Mafia’s private jet.
"Nikolai-kun finally used his ability to teleport all of our luggage," Fukuzawa sighed.
"It wasn’t so hard. All I asked in return was to take as many free days as I want this month!" Nikolai boasted.
"Why does he get away with it and I don’t?" Dazai whined, and Kunikida slapped him on the back of his head.
"Because at least he was a bit useful, unlike you!" Dazai just whined.
The Agency and Mafia were having their bonding activity as always. This time, the Mafia decided to flaunt their wealth even more with a trip to Europe. If everything went according to Mori’s plan, this trip should encourage the idiots to confess.
"I can’t believe we are in Europe! I hope we can see some of the countryside!" Kenji exclaimed as he helped with the luggage.
The Agency didn’t bring much, almost just one bag for a week of activities. Mori and Chuuya saw that coming and bought extra utensils for them.
"I wonder if there’s going to be crepe stands," Kyouka asked Atsushi as they gave their luggage to Kenji.
"Aya and I are privy to crepes. We shall find some splendid locations upon our arrival in Europe," Bram said as he helped with Aya’s luggage, "Kunikida-kun, you shall join us in this adventure."
Kenji and Sigma side-eyed one another at how everyone was acting. Since they captured the Cupid user, each duo pretended to return to normal. Their banters continued, but everyone could see it wasn’t the same. They still didn’t know what the actual weakness of the user was, or maybe they did and instead, they chickened out.
"Ah, I’ll have to check my schedule," Kunikida said as he fumbled with his notebook.
"Ah, Kunikida-kun, your heart is speeding up," Jouno teased, "Is there a reason for eeeek!" Jouno turned to Tecchou angrily, "WHY DID YOU JAB MY ASS, YOU ASSHOLE!?"
"Leave him alone and stop complaining," Tecchou grabbed Jouno and pulled him away from the exasperated Kunikida.
Even if Jouno was in a similar love confusion situation, he would never pass up a chance to mess with someone.
Ranpo was just snickering the whole time. He gave Poe a knowing look.
"What are you two planning now?" Oda asked with a sigh, helping Ango with his luggage. Since they both got together, Ango has tagged along in every activity. Oda wanted his boyfriend around, okay?
"Well, there’s going to be progress with all of these clueless idiots," Ranpo said as he took another candy into his mouth. Oda looked at Poe, who just shrugged.
"My dear Ranpo is right, this is the city of love after all! I’ll get so much inspiration for my book," Poe turned to Oda and Ango, "Now, where do you think would be a nice place to hide a body?"
Oda considered some options; after all, he is a writer.
"Ugh, the energy here is positively dreary," Mushitaro complained as he emerged from one of the aircraft, "It’s so bright!"
"Wait, what are you doing here?" Poe asked as he caught a glimpse of Mushitaro.
"I asked him to come!" Ranpo added on as he chewed on some gummies.
"I had originally denied, but Ranpo-kun is good at convincing," Mushitaro’s left eye twitched, Ranpo totally didn’t use the manuscript as leverage.
Akutagawa and Chuuya emerged from the aircraft as well. Dazai beamed when he caught a glimpse of Chuuya.
“Boss, the plane has been set. We should be able to drive to our destinations,” Chuuya said, Dazai visually beamed at the sight of Chuuya.
“Short stack! I was hoping you got lost among all the luggage,” Dazai teased, Chuuya glared at him. He was too exhausted from the trip (and literally everything going on) to deal with his annoying ex-partner.
“Shut up Shitty Dazai or I’ll throw you off the Eiffel Tower!” Everyone else rolled their eyes; they had had a headache the whole flight.
Everyone sighed. The whole week would be painful if the two idiots decided to continue arguing like always. Fukuzawa quickly thought of an idea to separate the two men and prevent everyone else from going crazy. As well as a way to push each duo into declaring their love for one another like in soap operas.
“Well, why don’t we all partner up with our usual people and take one of the cars to different destinations?” Fukuzawa suggested.
"Hmm, that’s not a bad idea, Fukuzawa-dono," Mori quickly agreed. He wasn’t even trying to hide the fact he was head over heels for him, "We will be here for a week, so travel around. We will be staying at a hotel in Brussels. You are all welcome anytime you guys decide to come back."
Everyone quickly agreed, taking any chance to escape Dazai and Chuuya’s drama.
“Ah, don’t forget to visit The Flags, Chuuya-kun,” Mori added; Chuuya nodded. He grabbed Dazai’s wrist and pulled him to one of the cars.
As everyone headed to their car, Mori let out a chuckle.
“Oh no, what did you do?” Fukuzawa sighed.
"One person in each duo is aware of the actual weakness of the user they fought," Fukuzawa’s eyes widened at Mori’s confession, “I let information slip for them to find out. It’s up to them to ask the other out.”
“You have to make everything complicated, don’t you?” Fukuzawa rolled his eyes as Mori shrugged.
